In a trade, the cap hit isn’t too bad because some of his guaranteed money is salaries that have yet to be paid, so they pass over to the new team. Cutting him is much worse (even if the uncapped year happens there is likely to be a cap cost in 2011).

Do I think they’ll move him? I would say no, but if the backstage reports are accurate he may have worn out his welcome.

The best thing for everyone would be for things to work themselves out, so I’m hoping for that.

Won’t be too bad if we get a 2nd for Kerry, do you really think that we would trade him. That would be a big cap hit wouldn’t it.

Love Cody, but a guy that size always has the potential to eat himself out of the league, of course. I’d be inclined to agree about trading up if the cupboard wasn’t so bare!

Thanks Bent, what about Terrance Cody, I would even trade up a little bit to take this kid. He sounds like a young Kris Jenikins to me. What do you think?

Jeff – I think they will probably end up retaining their 4th. They might have to give it up based on playing time or re-signing Lito, but I don’t think either of those things will happen because they’ve got more to gain from retaining the pick and both situations can be managed.

Wait I highly doubt that we will be able to draft Eric Berry. Unless we end up playing worse than expected and just lose out and go 4-12, but I do see us winning 2-3 games.

I see that if Rhodes is traded it would be a draft day trade, and if we can get one of the top-2 safety prospects or close to getting one, we trade Rhodes for a 2nd rounder.

Subs, thanks for great use of of a great song, appropriated day for a listen and good point on Kerry.

Highly recommend seeing Ray solo on his current tour, he is as great as ever even without the band.

And brother Dave is playing two solo shows after his health woes, so a reunion tour may not be far behind?

As for E Smith, I do not expect it to improve the defense, the coverage will suffer but hard nosed hitting will improve, in the long run he is not the answer. I would like to see Digs get some reps.
