I agree those quotes are not helpful to the team and probably a result of frustration lesser known guys feel about Rhodes getting all the attention, while they work harder. I’d prefer a bit more restraint of pen and tongue for the good of the team, but Rhodes can make it all go away with a great effort. Rhodes story is a sadly familiar one: success undercutting the things that created it. Or as Scott Fitzgerald said, and ultimately demonstrated…

I never said they have a history of doing it, just that they did it pretty recently in one of the more dramatic fashions, which is what you asked and then denied.
