Who: Jets vs. Panthers
When: 1:00 P.M. EST
Where: Giants Stadium, East Rutherford, NJ
Their Last Meeting: Picture it, November 13, 2005: Chad Pennington is out for the year and Brooks Bollinger has been the starter for a while now. Imagine the misery all Jets fans were feeling. At 2-7 the Jets were floundering as usual while the 7-2 Panthers had their way with Gang Green. Scores by Keary Colbert, Will Witherspoon (INT return), Stephen Davis and John Kasay gave the Jets literally no hope as Mike Nugent would score the lone points for the team. Needless to say it wasn’t pretty as the final score would be 3-30. Curtis Martin still shakes his head in disbelief to this day.

This time around the teams are more evenly matched as they both stand at 4-6 though I do have my doubts about the Jets this weekend. The Jets defense is without Kris Jenkins and managed to succumb to the same Laurence Maroney who is not an outstanding contributor to the Pats run game and now the Jets have to take on the one-two punch of DeAngelo Williams and Jonathan Stewart at home. We can’t forget though this is a Rex Ryan defense and although there are some holes, I believe that it is possible to contain Williams and Stewart so long as the defenders keep up and make sure they are precise.

As for the Panthers passing game the Jets could hit the gold mine if they can get mounds of pressure on Delhomme and force him to cough up a few INT’s (and I’m sure Revis wouldn’t mind that nor would Eric Smith who is looking to improve his image) and with Steve Smith hurting, the Jets might find it all the more easier to place Carolina in a state of disarray. Although it is quite difficult to keep a “stiff upper lip” the Jets have good odds at beating the Panthers so long as they can be accurate and limit the turnovers (that means YOU Sanchez!). So gather ’round and get ready to see some post-Thanksgiving redemption.

The playoff picture is still pretty much open. Hopefully we can win today and make things interesting down the stretch for us fans.

  2. avatar Kyle says:

I twitted Kerry Rhodes (for some reason, he reads my twits and responds) telling him to go out there and crush somebody. Preferably, Steve Smith.

Let’s see if this guy responds to his team, his coach and his fans, or if he puts his head in the oven and runs off to another team.

  3. avatar Kyle says:

Wicked hit by Douglas. i like this guy.

  4. avatar Shawn says:

I feel like im watching week 1 so far

  5. avatar Eirias says:

Is anyone else unable to load both the chat and justin.tv?

  6. avatar ridinmywave says:

Drew coleman is the worst db in the universe….why he still has a job?…only god knows why.

  7. avatar Kyle says:

He is terrible. Rosario Dawson is gonna put 100 yards on us.

Way to give me a heart attack Woodhead.

  8. avatar Eddie DiGio says:

Went to the bathroom damnit, howd we score?

  9. avatar Kyle says:

    Revis pick 6.

  10. avatar leon's legs says:

does anyone have a link to watch the game, im dying here

  11. avatar Streamlink? says:

    stream link any one?

  12. avatar Eddie DiGio says:

    Thank Kyle

We actually have an early lead and the d just shut down the run, holding my breath

  13. avatar david65 says:

fanaca just got his ass beat by some dude

  14. avatar Clownpuncher says:

No stream link to the game? I hate the west coast. =(

  15. avatar Shamik says:

Sanchez really needs to get it into his head that he’s got a good line around him and more time than he realizes.

  16. avatar ridinmywave says:

Ill be happy with a win regardless, but you can tell this is gonna be a boring game considering both teams have turn over prone qb’s and are running the ball on 3rd and long…….smh. These qbs are gonna have to start earning their money eventually

  17. avatar Kyle says:

Faneca always gets beat by some dude.

He is a liability on passing downs.

  18. avatar david65 says:

it was a run play though

  19. avatar Clownpuncher says:

NFL Red Zone stream… still can’t find the jets game

    http://www.justin.tv/scheelz123

  20. avatar igs says:

Just put the game on tivo. My first thought? Are you kidding me with the tackling?

  21. avatar Shamik says:

Eh, the tackling hasnt been that bad. Of course, I can’t remember seeing two more inept offenses. Oh wait, there was that Buffalo game…

  22. avatar ridinmywave says:

This kid needs to keep his head on a swivel and step his friggin accuracy up…..wtf!

  23. avatar Shamik says:

How good does it feel to watch a player who’s just the absolute best in the world at what he does. God I love Revis.

  24. avatar tyrone says:

it looks like Sanchez is playing conservative

  25. avatar vurtualife says:

On that first Offensive sequence. 3rd and 4 — why didn’t Schott call a screen, slant, or even delayed hand-off? In fact, when does he EVER call those plays, especially on short yards? And is EVERY run play straight down the middle?
How about some play action, giving Sanchez the option to run?
    painful to watch

  26. avatar Joe B. says:

Excuse me? The tackling has been great on defense since #25 got benched. Stick to Giant games.

And is Carolina’s coverage that good or is Sanchez to step into the pocket and throw? It’s not like him to play scared, so maybe the Panthers’ secondary is shutting everything down.

  27. avatar Eddie DiGio says:

He has to be taught to be patient. The game has to come to him, they got the early lead and they are protecting it. The o line has to step up and put a hat on someone and get the running game going or the offense wont do anything

  28. avatar ridinmywave says:

Sanchez is even a bigger liability on passing downs than faneca……..lol alright alright…….I’ll let up off the kid……for now

  29. avatar Shamik says:

Bogus call. Ball wasnt even catchable.

  30. avatar Shawn says:

    Enter Kerry Rhodes….

  31. avatar Shamik says:

    Leohard, what a tackle!

  32. avatar ridinmywave says:

Our o line takes a lot of abuse taking how much we run the ball…..we are a good running team because of them but you can’t expect these guys to hold up EVERY down when defenses constantly stuff the box……..its up to your beloved qb to stretch the damn field and keep the D honest every once and a while. Spread the ball and make the proper reads……all this playing scared and conservative is a recipe for disaster. If he’s not capable, put somebody else in who can

  33. avatar Joe B. says:

Offense needs to put together a good drive. Defense is doing its job (sans #25, shocking!) but has been on the field for way too long. Earn your pay O-Line.

  34. avatar Shamik says:

Well, when all you do is run, and all you run is right up the gut, its pretty easy to stop it.

  35. avatar EddieC says:

got to get our receivers involved

  36. avatar ridinmywave says:

Doesn’t matter where they run it, if the other team knows your gonna run ALL the time its automatically 5 against 7 seven or 8……..the o line can’t account for everybody and then some

  37. avatar Shamik says:

WTF, Woody just stood like a statue!

  38. avatar James in TN says:

Somebody get fata$$ woody a hearing aid.

  39. avatar Kyle says:

    Sit down Woody.

  40. avatar Shamik says:

    REVIS!!!

  41. avatar Eddie DiGio says:

I hate D Woody as it is, I hope he is not on the team next year

  42. avatar Shamik says:

This guy has put on a clinic all year! Maybe, wtf maybe, there is no better corner playing the game!

  43. avatar vurtualife says:

Ball was underthrown, making it easier for Revis to pick off, but great play nonetheless….

  44. avatar ridinmywave says:

You guys can blame the playcalling all you want but I know for a fact that sanchez has missed some recievers and single coverages this game……..the safteies are consistently cheating up in the box. But on a brighter note………Revis is a bad man. He is officially THE best. Last I saw Aso, he was getting tourched by miles austin.

  45. avatar Eddie DiGio says:

This is why we all said that playing conservative and get the kid a feel for the game is the way to go.

The D got the ball back, Sanchez looks like he is at least competent in what is going on out there, he just made a beauty to Keller and Greene is running physical.

Keep the kid on track Rex and Schotty

  46. avatar Green Lantern says:

I rather watch This Sanchez than The Sanchez all you guys are calling for.

  47. avatar leon's legs says:

this kid has great vision, but needs to keep the ball

  48. avatar Eddie DiGio says:

And as soon as I say that Greene puts the ball on the ground

Its unbelievable how this year is going…The kid and coaches are managing the game like we all want, Greene looks good and then he craps the bed

    Its unreal

  49. avatar James in TN says:

This Sanchez is playing like this because Rex put a boot in Schotty’s a$$. Greene got to hold on to the ball.

  50. avatar Shamik says:

WTF! #25, who the hell is that guy?

  51. avatar ridinmywave says:

I know shotti isn’t the best playcaller, but no one relies on their OC to win games. No play drawn up is built up to work all the time, its up to your qb to improvise when things don’t go according to plan. All this “protecting the qb” and “run the ball every single time” banter is getting old. They claimed they knew what they were doing by drafting the kid and throwing him into the fire right away, so I don’t know what the problem is. I knew this was gonna bite us in the a$$

  52. avatar Green Lantern says:

    KERRY RHODES!!!!!

  53. avatar Eddie DiGio says:

Kerry Rhodes made a play!!! Kerry Rhodes just made a play!!! OH MY GOD RHODES MADE A PLAY!!!

  54. avatar leon's legs says:

MR HOLLYWOOD!!!! hey guess what i could have caught that 2

  55. avatar EddieC says:

he better be humble about that pick, thats all i have to say

  56. avatar James in TN says:

STOP THE PRESSES WAS THERE A RHODES SIGHTING????????????????

  57. avatar James in TN says:

    agreed, EddieC

  58. avatar Kyle says:

    He responded.

  59. avatar Shamik says:

Lol, even on the INT, Rhodes had no Carolina guys around him except for one WR. Guess who he runs right towards.

  60. avatar ridinmywave says:

The Defense is ballin out!….everybody!….except for useless Drew Coleman ofcourse. But this great, welcome back Kerry!……….now how about we give the WRs a chance to play?

  61. avatar Phil T says:

Anyone find a feed of the game?

  62. avatar Eddie DiGio says:

Wave calm down. Clowney was open on the sack but Brayton was in the passing lanes. The guy is 6’8. He did the smart thing bc he might have had the ball batted right back in his face.

He is playing within the offense right now. We are winning and our D is taking the ball away, Plus he hasnt turned it over.

This is how the Ravens played with Flacco last year and the Jets and Sanchez are doing exactly what they should be.

QBs miss open guys all the time. If they didnt every QB would complete 80% of his passes and throw like 5 picks a year. You have an impossible standard

  63. avatar leon's legs says:

    braylon edwards sighting

  64. avatar Shamik says:

WooHoo! 6 points on the board and 6 fantasy points for me!

  65. avatar Eddie DiGio says:

You see the throwout to Braylon to set up TJ Td…

Thats what we were all talking about!!!! See what happens when you limit the rookies responsibility

  66. avatar ridinmywave says:

Eddie, smarten up…….there are qb’s who miss more open recievers than others. I’m not off my rocker, go look it up yourself…..the numbers and tape don’t lie.

  67. avatar leon's legs says:

ill take 14-3 halftime with the ball out of the gate

  68. avatar vurtualife says:

DiGio said it above: a quick pass to Braylon helped keep the drive going, prevented Sanchez from holding the ball to long, and set up the run play leading to the TD.

Indeed, this is what we’ve been clamoring for all year and have seen so little of…

  69. avatar Eddie DiGio says:

Oh yea Wave what tape? The Jets give you game tape that no one else gets. You dont know he is missing recievers, you cannot see that from watching on TV.

Pipe down, the kid is doing a good job of managing the team.

  70. avatar ridinmywave says:

And stop comapring flacco to sanchez…….baltimore ran the ball but at the same time they strecthed the field with flacco with no offensive weapons what so ever. We have an elite pass catching TE, big body WR, great possesion reciever, great running game, and all pro o line…….Bmores offense didn’t have our luxuries, but flacco still held his own.

  71. avatar Daniel says:

I like what Sanchez is doing today. Seems like he’s throwing short to the backs more.

  72. avatar Daniel says:

Got to come out running. punts are no bad thing.

  73. avatar Eddie DiGio says:

Derrick Mason, Clayton , Heap they are all terrible right…I wasnt comparing Sanchez to Flacco, I was comparing the way the use to run the offense.

You have a huge hard on for Sanchez and wont even give the kid any credit for doing a job of managing the game

  74. avatar ridinmywave says:

Yeah they send me game tape……smart a$$. I watch and and dvr the same games eveybody else does……don’t get stupid.

  75. avatar Shamik says:

Well Sanchez is just checking down immediately to his backs, its not very glamorous, but it moves the chains and prevents him from turning the ball over.

  76. avatar Shamik says:

Quote from the girlfriend: “Doesn’t this game not mean anything? How come they can do well when it doesnt mean anything?” Yup, sums up the season quite nicely.

  77. avatar ridinmywave says:

No one said they were terrible junior. Clayton is actually not that good if you really had to throw dudes name out there. All I said was their offensive weapons were not that versatile compared to this jets team. Period. They actually had one of the worst offenses last year……so what’s your point? I’m good on you fam, no one has a hard on for nobody and you act like I send the guy hate mail and death threats, I just call it like I see it. Everybody is entitled to do that. You must be the one with the hard on, or his lawyer or his cousin…or whatever. Did he send you a turkry for thanksgiving?…..idunno why you got all uptight, but its cool. Sit back and enjoy the game while ignoring my posts kid. Its real simple

  78. avatar Eddie DiGio says:

Derrick Mason and Clayton both caught more passes last year than Braylon Edwards wave

  79. avatar Eddie DiGio says:

Dont call me junior or kid internet tough guy

  80. avatar leon's legs says:

did i just lose the redzone?

  81. avatar Shamik says:

WTF Keller! Did they not tell you to never leave the ball exposed at the goalline!? WTF!!

  82. avatar EddieC says:

if its not one thing- its another

  83. avatar Green Lantern says:

Eddie thats not really fair because Joe way better of a QB than Derek or Quinn.

  84. avatar ridinmywave says:

Dammit keller! Good pass, good catch, sh*# happens. We’ll get em next time

  85. avatar tyrone says:

well what you are going to do still good drive

  86. avatar Eddie DiGio says:

I guess Sanchez should have hopped on his rocket ship and propelled Keller into the end zone too

  87. avatar Eddie DiGio says:

Latern- I cant argue with that, Flacco is in a different universe than those two

  88. avatar ridinmywave says:

No one is being tough on the internet by saying “kid”. Its just a word, no insults, no threats……B EZ…….and ignore my posts….for the second time

  89. avatar tyrone says:

    defense

  90. avatar tyrone says:

this is the kind of game Rex likes to play a lead and good defense and Rhodes got a interception.

  91. avatar tyrone says:

well i guess you guys will get your clemons

  92. avatar Green Lantern says:

    DAMMIT!!!!

  93. avatar Dan in OK says:

anybody know how bad it looked

  94. avatar burbankjetsfan says:

Looks like he was getting up before the commercial break…

  95. avatar Green Lantern says:

Not that bad, I really dont know how it happened. He didn’t land on it bad or anything.
Probably just sprained it or something.

  96. avatar Eddie DiGio says:

    OK Wave

Stop with condescending tone internet tough guy… for the second time

  97. avatar leon's legs says:

yea i dont have feed, coming back?

  98. Well all you that were clammering for clemmens, becareful what you wish for!!

  99. avatar Green Lantern says:

He looks alright he was just stretching it.

  100. avatar Eddie DiGio says:

    Kellen CLemens is AWESOME

  101. avatar tyrone says:

    Sanchez will be back

  102. Looks like they have alot of confidence in clemmens..3/11 and a run with woodhead…Says a whole bunch!!

  103. avatar burbankjetsfan says:

It’s alright, knee is taped up. I say keep clemens in there for another series, but I’m not the coach. Run the ball!

  104. avatar Bent says:

Please let’s not argue with each other. We’re winning for a change!

  105. Bent.. The winning is causeing the arguments.. They have nothing else to be negative about!!

  106. avatar ridinmywave says:

Aahh boy…….here we go. Clemens wouldn’t stand a chance if he bought all of you new cars, put your kids through college, and and brough the first sb chamionship to the jets in 40 years, lol. All it takes is 1 incomplete pass for the bashing to commence. Lol, hilarious

  107. avatar igs says:

Tnat’s Mr. Calvin pace to you.

  108. avatar igs says:

That’s why your best WR shouldn’t be returning kicks.

  109. avatar Eddie DiGio says:

Just Another Jet Fan- Dude if anything I get called a cheerleader, wagoneer or kool aid drinker bc Im so positive about this team

    Way to go Calvin Pace!!!

  110. avatar ronnie says:

Cotchery and Revis shouldn’t see special teams again this season.

  111. avatar James in TN says:

WTF geta real PR out there!!!! Why get Cotchery hurt for no reason?

  112. avatar ridinmywave says:

and EDDIE, I gueds its very clear your skin is thin and you can’t help but to not overlook anything, so I guess ill just have to play my “tough guy” role and keep you occupied for as long as I can since the game isn’t good enough.

  113. avatar Green Lantern says:

If I see one of Star Players Get Hurt Again, Someone’s getting Punched In the Mouth……

  114. avatar kerry who? says:

id rather see ainge than clemens

  115. avatar Eddie DiGio says:

Im happy the Jets are sticking with the running game

  116. avatar tyrone says:

all we need to do to win this game is just run the ball Carolina defense isdone

  117. avatar Kyle says:

Bad bad throw. His arm is weak.

  118. avatar kerry who? says:

    here we go

  119. avatar James in TN says:

Ahh crap here we go again

  120. avatar tyrone says:

i guess running the ball wasn’t on option

  121. avatar Eddie DiGio says:

You win wave…Im wrong, Sanchez is terrible and Kellen Clemens is great

  122. avatar ridinmywave says:

I’d rather see us get that ball back that sanchez just handed over

  123. avatar Green Lantern says:

    Here Come The Whiners.

  124. avatar wrex ryan says:

    Gimme a W

    Gimme a T

    Gimme a F

    WTF

    Run the damn ball

  125. avatar burbankjetsfan says:

That was a rookie mistake pick…Just a rookie mistake. How the team responds is what we should make our judgements on.

  126. avatar James in TN says:

    We will get it back.

  127. avatar tyrone says:

    edwards could have defended that

  128. avatar leon's legs says:

o wait time for jets disappointment… would not shock me they lose this game

  129. avatar ridinmywave says:

Clemens isn’t great…..the jury is still out, lol

  130. avatar igs says:

As time goes on those will turn into big plays. Edwards, Keller, Greene and Sanchez are going to make a very good offensive crew. I hope the Jets don’t drop Edwards.

  131. avatar burbankjetsfan says:

It was a bad throw! If Brian Billick says it’s a bad throw then…

  132. avatar Green Lantern says:

Everyone Shutup If Sanchez that In Front Of Braylon Than We Are In Business.

  133. avatar Shamik says:

Rookie mistake this, Rookie mistake that. This kid was apparently put on this earth to throw INTs, same way Aaron Heilman was but on the planet to serve up home runs.

  134. avatar leon's legs says:

ouch mets joke… still not ready for those

  135. avatar burbankjetsfan says:

    Ball was loose…

  136. avatar Eddie DiGio says:

It looks like Smith bobbled the ball but who knows with the way the refs make calls these days

  137. avatar igs says:

Not syaing it wasn’t a bad throw. I’m saying the throws will get better as those 2 put more time in the books.

  138. avatar kerry who? says:

    i bet it gets overturned

  139. avatar kerry who? says:

    bingo

  140. avatar Shamik says:

WooHoo, no escape from Revis Island!

  141. avatar Eddie DiGio says:

The Sanchez pick was just a bad throw and a good play by Gamble. Physical mistake, at least it wasnt a into double coverage for a pick six

And Drew Coleman just killed somebody

  142. avatar igs says:

    that’s a tough little man.

  143. avatar Shamik says:

Whoof, good stop. Delhomme totally missed the wide open receiver in the flat.

  144. avatar burbankjetsfan says:

    Tough D!!!!

  145. Eddie D.. My post was really directed to Wave!!

  146. avatar Kyle says:

    Damn Drew!

  147. avatar Eddie DiGio says:

A lot of people hate Brad Smith but the guy can play specials man, that’ll keep ya on an NFL roster

  148. avatar tyrone says:

we need to kill some clock and get at least fg

  149. avatar Shamik says:

Holy crap, the head ref is the guy who played the Candyman!

  150. avatar leon's legs says:

we are def gonna blow this game

  151. avatar tyrone says:

its time for the defense to to take charge.

  152. avatar dmazz says:

The Defense has took charge the entire game. Wake me when the offense plays better as a unit

  153. avatar Shamik says:

    haha, Delhomme is dreadful!

  154. avatar Eddie DiGio says:

I just flipped to the Hou-Indy game, freakin Colts came back from 20 -zip to take a 21-20 lead, unreal

  155. avatar tyrone says:

    pretty good woody jr

  156. avatar Eddie DiGio says:

Nice little play Schotty!!! The little Woodhead that could!!!

  157. avatar leon's legs says:

run run run dink run run run run run dink ball game

  158. avatar dmazz says:

    He looks like Edelmann

  159. avatar Vegas says:

Manage the clock and let’s close this one right!

  160. avatar jay says:

    come on looks good

  161. avatar Shamik says:

hmmm, quite a few empty seats in the stadium.

  162. avatar Eddie DiGio says:

17-6 not bad with 3 mins to go. The Jets left 10 pts out there with the Keller fumble and Feely makeable miss

  163. avatar Vegas says:

Cmon. 11 points and 4 minutes. Dfense stay on board!

  164. avatar Daniel says:

Now how about a Gholston sack?

  165. avatar burbankjetsfan says:

Would like to see slants/screens to Woodhead, of course there must be something i don’t know cause they don’t listen to me…

  166. avatar leon's legs says:

ill take a pick right now

  167. avatar Daniel says:

Right Legs. A Gholston pick 6!

  168. avatar Vegas says:

    REVIS. Player of the game

  169. avatar Shamik says:

I wish we could play Delhomme more often.

  170. avatar tyrone says:

    buffalo is beating miami

  171. avatar Vegas says:

    Are you kidding me?

  172. avatar Eddie DiGio says:

Drew Coleman has done a good job today, but that desperation prayer that Jarrett just caught is the kind of stuff that just makes you realize what he truly is

  173. avatar Vegas says:

I love sanchez but if he threw that ball, there would be six panthers sharing the INT!

  174. avatar Daniel says:

Fins have given up 17 pts in the 4th! Hooray!

  175. avatar Shamik says:

All these complete passes towards the end of the game…how familiar.

  176. avatar Vegas says:

That was the type of defense we need to keep up!

  177. avatar Eddie DiGio says:

    Burbank Fan

I like Woodheads tenacity and athleticism but I think if he has a future in the NFL, it will be as a slot guy.

He is just too small to take the pounding at HB in the league. But a carry or two here and there he could catch some people off guard

  178. avatar Mr. Pick Six says:

    Finally the old Kerry Rhodes!

  179. avatar Shamik says:

Falling down is the best thing Rhodes could have done.

  180. avatar Eddie DiGio says:

    LMFAO

Kerry F**K in Rhodes!!!!! Kerry F**kin Rhodes HAHAHAHAHA

  181. avatar Vegas says:

Kerry Rhodes. We should bench him more often !!

  182. avatar Mr. Pick Six says:

Possibly the easiest interception of his career though

  183. avatar tyrone says:

lets bench the whole team look how good it did for Rhodes

  184. avatar leon's legs says:

    and there is my pick

  185. avatar Daniel says:

We need to bench Rhodes more often. Every other week is probably the maximum possible.

  186. avatar Eddie DiGio says:

Get all the starters off the field and get them ready for Thurs night, dont want any stupid freak injuries

  187. avatar Shamik says:

hmmm, oddly enough, if they can play like this the rest of the season. We actually have a legit chance of winning the rest of our games.

  188. avatar Green Lantern says:

lol Hey Criticize Kerry’s INT’s all you want but at least it will shut the stat lovers up for a while.

  189. avatar Vegas says:

    Good win.

  190. avatar jay says:

thanks JETS! bout time, how about those FINS HA!HA!

  191. avatar Green Lantern says:

    TYRONE-
HAHAHA Hey is that what we are doing with Gholston?
hes gonna come back a beast lmao.

  192. avatar leon's legs says:

see you guys in buffalo on thurs… o wait nvm we are in Toronto

  193. avatar Mr. Pick Six says:

I’m not afraid of the Falcons. Bengals probably won’t play there starters in the final game for the entire second half as long as the Steelers continue to decline. But, the Colts game. That’s going to be tough

  194. avatar rexus says:

What were the plays that they ran when woodhead caught the ball? Was he lined up at wr or rb?

  195. avatar Vegas says:

Maybe another int in the works!

  196. avatar Daniel says:

Might need an 85 yard punt here to be safe

  197. avatar Eddie DiGio says:

What happened to Jake Delhomme? I use to watch this guy kill people in the 4th and throw bombs to Steve Smith all day. He was a pretty good QB at one point in the NFL. He looks terrible now, so wierd how the game can just catch up to you

  198. avatar leon's legs says:

    can i get another pick?

  199. avatar tyrone says:

good game 5 games to go

  200. avatar Eddie DiGio says:

    Shamik

I was thinking the same thing but our only hope in Indy is if the Colts rest the whole team bc they already wrapped up home field.

I think its safe to say that Rex isnt the booger flickin moron most people make him out to be. He got all over Schotty and Sanchez and the only turnover from Sanchez was a physical mistake that can happen to anybody. Schotty also stuck with the run even when it was stuffed early. Sanchez was much smarter with the ball today, and he completed 70% of his passes.

There is at least hope that the future can hold good things for Chez and Rex

  201. avatar James in TN says:

    JETS WIN, DOLPHINS LOSE!!!!!!!!!

Does it get any better? I think not!

  202. avatar Daniel says:

How about that D without Jenkins. I never thought Stewart and Williams would go a combined 25-75 without Jenkins playing.

  203. avatar Daniel says:

Chad Henne’s 3 picks in a 2 minute span makes me smile too

  204. avatar Eddie DiGio says:

D was great deserve alot of credit but we have the next Deion Sanders in Darrelle Revis. He is just incredible, the best corner in the game, he can cover, he can come up on the run and make open field tackles. He is our franchise. I just cant say enough about how good this guy is.

A virtual Pro Bowl team of recievers he has covered this year and has come out on top everytime.

Simply the best, period, point blank

  205. avatar Brandon from Illinois says:

    Winning still feels sooo good.

  206. avatar Eddie DiGio says:

Daniel thats how the Phins lost? 3 picks by Henne in 2 min?!
See Sanchez haters, it can even happen to the perfectly devoloping Dolphins future franchise QB Chad Henne

  207. avatar kd bart says:

Depending what happens with Jax in Frisco and Pitt/Balt, the playoffs are not dead . The second wild card could be 6-5.

  208. avatar Green Lantern says:

What was the stat in two games Vs Revis Moss is 9 Catches and under 90 yards?

    REVIS OUR BOY

  209. avatar ronnie says:

Great game by the defense especially Revis, Smith, Pace, Harris and Scott (he was in on every play)

  210. avatar Daniel says:

Eddie, they were already down by 7 before the first pick but got 10 more points from them in a 24-0 4th Q

  211. avatar jay says:

w baby ! go JETS Bills are next!

  212. avatar tyrone says:

im happy maybe ill cook tonite

  213. avatar Daniel says:

Make that 14 points off the 3 picks

  214. avatar Eddie DiGio says:

    Dan
I gotta say that makes me smile too!!!

  215. avatar Shamik says:

Moss had 50 yards combined this season, thanks to Revis. That and a rinky-dink TD.

  216. avatar tyrone says:

Rhodes did the right thing screw the media as a fan he answered any question i may have the guy feels bad and he delivered so he did great by me

  217. avatar miketaliaferro says:

Great game. Just the kind of get-after-it game I’ve been wishing for.

Revis should be in the running for D Player-of-the-Year. All-Pro/Pro Bowl isn’t enough here…a truly MVP-type year!

Eric Smith!!!!! He looked like Leonhard out there. Everywhere, doing everything. Real tough kid. If I’m Rex, I’m liking the set-up here…start Smith, bring in Rhodes as the extra back. Let them fight it out for the spot.

Think D-Wood has finally heard that snap count yet? He’s going to be living down that bit of film for a long time.

I do believe that TJ has finally cemented his place as the center of this offense and as one of the major heart & soul guys on your roster. There simply isn’t a season without TJ. Tanny, give him the money; he’s your offense.

    On to Toronto!
