Long shot, yes – I just hope we can beat the Bills on Thursday. Then we get the Bucs.. could be a fun couple weeks to be a Jets fan again.

I saw highlights of the Bills game and it looks like they won because they took advantage of Miami mistakes. If we limit our mistakes, we should be able to beat Buffalo. Our defense looks much better, with E Smith in their to help against the run and Lito S to play opposite All-World Revis. If they continue to use Rhodes, as they did this past Sunday — we look good on defense. As for our offense, I hate Schotty but, we have a better rushing game than Buffalo and, if we use the rush to open up the short passing game, Sanchez should be just fine. Look for us to make the season interesting.
For those who still want to dream with Serby on playoffs, root for Pats next week against Miami. Pats hold two game lead and tie-breaker over us, so the division is lost barring injury to Brady (which is what I will root for, playoffs aside).
I just want a win Thursday however we can get it, so we have a full weekend and 10 days of feeling ok about our team again, back at .500. I don’t believe playoffs are a possibility (deep down no one does), but it sure will feel better watching the games and seeing the Jets listed on the right side as a team just on the outside, still in the conversation.
