^^ that must've been some interview Mangini had with the Browns. He must've blamed Favre all the way to a new job.

I can't imagine Shotty being offered an NFL HC job after the year the jets O is having. Then again, Cleveland quickly nabbed Mangini as if his stock was so hot that someone else might actually want him, so you never know.
How them Browns doin?

That, more than any nod to the Schotty Sucks crowd, may impact his not returning.

Ummm, I thought that the Jets were bringing Schotty back in for only a year, until he got a promotion somewhere. It's extremely clear that he wants a HC spot, and I (and the world) was amazed that he took his old job again under an outsider after it appeared clear that he was A -- if not THE -- front-runner to replace Mangini.

I just don't see him coming back unless ALL NFL HC jobs (and most high-profile major college jobs) are shut to him (unlikely) and the Jets are willing to see him increase his chafing under Rex.

Just don't see him doing it.

Weis would be a great signing for the Jets. He is great with young qbs and very smart offensively. It's clear he can't be a head coach. His laid back style would mesh well with Rex's kill everyone style.
Schotty has got to go. I am not gonna list all the reasons. We all know them. Bottom line he just can't get it done. He has had four years to improve and I think he has taken steps backward. If Sanchez is the future of this organization, they need to sign someone who can nurture his talents and build a game plan around his talents and the running game.

Well, the answer to this conundrum is my name.

As long as Mr. T is in running this joint no "name" coaches are coming here. Even if they would, Woody is not exactly know for paying big bucks to coaches, and Weiss would command a nice salary.

That said, I dont want him anyway, NO MORE HOODIES!

This franchise needs to let go of the Bellicheat branch of the Parcels coaching tree.

Callahan is in place and as/ more qualified than Weiss to run an offense.

Its very simple, which is why Mr. T will inevitably screw it up.

Jetsrdone,

Cavanaugh has had a QB with a QB rating over 83 just once as a QB coach or Offensive coordinator (and that was Steve Young's 97 QB rating in 1996). If he is our O-coordinator Sanchez will not improve as quickly as we all hope.

Tannenbaum will NEVER get rid of his boy Schotty....Remember, Tannenbaum really wanted to hire Schotty as the head coach and when he realized that wasn't gonna fly with Jets fans and the media then he made it a stipulation that Rex retain Schotty in order for him to become the head coach...There's a better chance Tannenbaum fires Rex and makes Schotty the head coach!!!!!! Callahan should be calling the plays tomorrow against Buffalo!!!!!!!!!!!! Schotty's awful!!!!!!!
