Yes Elam was put in that role, because Kerry is exponentially better against the pass, but even the Blind Squirrel (Elam) was able to find a nut in that role, so until Kerry shows us what he is capable of in other roles I feel the jury is out on his play making abilities. Kerry Rhodes is one of the best cover safety's in the game, and I dont know another safety who has the range he has. Yet, our "fans" are calling for his head? No more Twitter, no more Pro Bowl vote lobbying, just be the Kerry Rhodes that all us Jet fans know he can be. We dont need Hollywood. Who cares about stats, I care about wins and this team isn't as good without him. Top shelf safeties are hard to find.
