KC Joyner talks about the Jets-Bills rematch and notes that only two of Sanchez’s five picks were “mistakes” on his part, hmm I’d have to go back and watch tape of my non-”all 22″ footage to make a similar judgement call. Anyway, however many were Sanchez’s fault or not, the bottom line is that the Jets have the personnel and coaching to beat this team, but as usual with the Bills, it comes down to turnovers.

I just went back and watched every pass attempt Sanchez threw in the first Buffalo game (the video is on youtube) and I agree with Joyner. The 2nd and last interceptions were 100% on Sanchez. The 1st interception Edwards stretched out and tipped it up right into the defender (Byrd). The 3rd interception was when Edwards jumped about 4 seconds too early and the ball sailed right over him. The 4th interception bounced right off Edwards’ hands and into the air for an easy pick. Also, that 4th pick should have been knocked down by the defense because it was a 4th down play and they lost field position because of it.
There was an alarmingly high number of dropped passes (Keller and Edwards being the biggest culprits) and Sanchez was running from pressure all game. Honestly, if the Jets can just catch the ball and keep Sanchez from his backside, they should be able to handle the Bills tonight. Key word: should.
