Where: Rogers Centre, Toronto, Canada
Their Last Meeting: It wasn’t a good one that is for sure after Trent Edwards and Kris Jenkins were both knocked out of the game, Sanchez succumbed to Buffalo’s defense coughing up five interceptions while Steve Weatherford coughed up an INT himself. The Jets defense suddenly couldn’t stop a Lee Evens touchdown that would set up a tie game and when they [NYJ] couldn’t get anything generated on offense they looked towards defense for some hope unfortunately Rian Lindell who had earlier missed a kick earlier hit the game winner for the Bills in OT. I also forget to mention Feely missed a FG that would have put the Jets at 16 points at the end of the second quarter and that Ihedigbo punched Derrick Fine. Yeah, good times.

UPDATE: The inactives for tonight’s game are Dwight Lowery, Donald Strickland, Kevin O’Connell, Ryan Fowler, Kenwin Cummings, Robert Turner and Ropati Pitoitua. Erik Ainge is the 3rd QB. As predicted Matt Slauson will be active (and might be used in the jumbo) freshly signed TE Matt Mulligan is active too.
The rematch we have all been waiting for (or not) as the Jets finally have another chance to deal a loss to the Buffalo Bills but they are gaining some energy with new coach Perry Fewell at the helm but don’t let that fool you, Ryan and Co. are still steaming over that overtime loss. T.O. can catch a few touchdowns and Ryan Fitzpatrick can have his praises sung all he wants but believe me the Jets defense needs and wants to make a statement and with Thomas Jones on offense the gloves will come off.
This is a must win for the Jets if they are to continue to be in the hunt for the Playoffs and although Buffalo has gained steam, the Jets have learned a lot from the beginning of the season and perhaps they can work their magic to pull off another win but the turnovers need to be limited and everyone needs to be on the same page. Gather round and get ready to watch the Thursday night festivities. Drop in through the night and leave your thoughts.

Getting fired up, if Schotty calls the game to move the chains and not to try and get a head coaching job, I think the Jets can do enough in the running game and on defense to win this football game.
Buffalo always plays us tough, but I think we are a better team overall and beat ourselves the first time.
The Jets cant have a letdown bc we’ve seen this team win a game then think they are invincible, Rex has to keep the message going to the boys

Nope, sorry. The Jets played them as hard as anyone. The Jets will send 4 or maybe 5 players to the pro-bowl this year. To say they can’t play with the elite teams is silly. They have the second best D in the league.
They are a year, when their rookie QB lets the game slow down a bit, away from the playoffs.

i’m very concerned about Sanchez’s knee — looked like when the trainer manipulated the knee there was too much mobility posteriorly — wouldn’t be surprised if he tore a ligament — the trainer said something to him and Sanchez dropped his head back as if he heard something he didn’t want to hear — REALLY hope i’m mistaken

Watching SNY and Shine mentioned how adamant Rex is on Sanchez run…. The reason is because he does not like his crop of QB behind Sanchez!!

Come on. Make your case. You never shut your pie holes when the Jets lose. How did his incredibly dumb play calling manage to have Sanchez miss a wide open receiver in the end zone, have him hit a wide open Edwards for an 80 yard TD, have him make another wide out drop a TD?
Oh and the Jets won after with yet another 200 yard+ ground game.
Or do you have no idea what you are talking about?

See what I mean? The Jets are trying to run out the clock and the Bills try to shut down the run with 11 in the box against a back up QB and this is the type of “analysis” we get here.
I can deal with criticism by people who understand the game. But dumb stuff is dumb stuff.

Schotty called a good game for once.
Seriously, Rex needs to calm down in going after Sanchez so much for his dive. It was a completely safe play, it’s not like it was the TD run against the Titans. He didn’t even get hit, and if he slides there’s no guarantee he still doesn’t get hurt. I like that Rex is being assertive with Sanchez, but he’s off base here. That wasn’t a dangerously play in any way.

Great win by the Jets. And I think Schotty’s play calling was fine in the 4th quarter – it’s the only part of the game I saw.
Have to admit, the Jets are at least keeping this interesting. Of course the Ravens, Jags, Dolphins, and Steelers are helping with their ineptitude. But still, it’s fun to think that they are still in the playoff hunt after 12 games. The thing that sucks is that the team that I believe really sucks (the Broncos) are 7-4 and play KC twice and Oakland once the remainder of the way. So they should lock up one wildcard. So playoffs today look like NE, IND, CIN, SD, and DEN as one wild card. Ravens, Steelers, Jets, Texans, Jags, Dolphons battle it out for the second WC.
