To seize everything you ever wanted-One moment
Would you capture it or just let it slip?

Pretty much I hate Marshall Mathers, but the words are apropos. Kellen Clemens is likely heading into free agency, still convinced he wants a shot to start in this league. It’s clear it’s not going to happen in New York for him, but this game against the Bucs is his chance to Kelly Holcomb himself into a job somewhere else. So, with the big news from today that Rex Ryan has sat Mark Sanchez due to the injury he sustained to his knee against the Bills last Thursday, what now? Kellen Clemens is the starter, but what does that mean for him, and what does that mean for the Jets gameplan?
Keep on Running the Ball — The Jets are leading the league (by 26 carries to the #2 team, yowza) in rushing attempts and yards per game … so … keep it up! Clem is going to need as much help as he can get, and on the year, the Jets are averaging 36 carries per game. That number will be much the same against the Bucs, who they can afford to stuff the box on.
Jumbo Package — The Jets will likely go big frequently in this game with extra run blockers. Look for the team to counter any extra bodies that the Bucs try to put into the box by adding more bodies of their own … that means Wayne Hunter, Robert Turner (if he can get healthy) and Ben Hartsock. Make some lanes for TJ and Shonn, and let the backs do the rest.
Burn Them Deep But Don’t Get Burned — Whether Kellen can connect on deep throws, if the offense is going to commit to the run, they still need to strike the fear of Braylon into this group by going deep at determined intervals to soften the defense. Still, the same rules apply for Clemens as did Sanchez better to miss your receiver up and out than down and in.
Read, Read, Throw it Away — Kellen’s been taking second team snaps for months now, so for him to come in and have the timing perfect with all his receivers is going to be a tall order. An unfamiliarity with Braylon might make him lean on known quantities like Cotchery or Jones. Kellen has been prone to some costly turnovers during his time as a QB, and he needs to know that against a team that’s struggling to find it’s identity like the Bucs, it’s better to throw the ball away than force a throw.

Guys I think you guys are panicking for no reason. I think Kellen will surprise you with how well he can play with a week to prepare. Now I know you guys love Sanchez, but think about this, Clemens will not turn the ball over 5 times in one game and need a band to tell weather he should trow the ball. Kellen will be fine against Tampa because they aren’t good enough o beat this team unless we beat ourselves. And one thing Clemens has never done is beat himself. He won’t win the game Sunday, but he certainly won’t be the reason if we do loose. I’m expecting about 12-18 for 163 a TD and INT, which we can handle. Good luck Kellen make this happen till Sanchez gets back
-
Deven
You are entitled to you opinion, but he stinks!!!If the team wins it will not be because of KC.
Hopefully after watching a full game with Kellen behind center, the folks who are drinking the Clemens “Cool-Aid” will finally realize he does stink!!!
-
he’ll be fine……may even throw for over 300 yards
-
Deven,
I think everyone is forgetting how bad KC can be. While he was never as horrible as Sanchez was in his worst games, he was never competent. His ONLY QB rating over 80 was against the woeful Miami Dolphins in 2007 (it was also his only road win…he was terrible against the Cowboys and had 1 good quarter against a mediocre Ravens team) and, not to disagree with Bent’s post on another thread, this Bucs team is better than that 1-15 Div. III team. Sanchez, on the other hand, has posted 7 over 80 QB ratings in his 12 starts. If you throw out his 3 worst games (Saints, 1st Bills and 2nd Pats) he has thrown 10 TDs to 5 INTs and completed nearly 58% of his passes. KC has never even sniffed being that good.
-
Lets get it out of the way now.
IT’S ALL SCHOTTY’S FAULT!!!
-
We have very good reason to be scared after watching KC take over for Sanchez last week.
I do think he will be better than that performance, but it’s not like KC hasn’t ever been on the field all year, giving us no opportunity to gauge him. He was just in last week!
-
The best thing is to support clemens this sunday…no need to be negative on him at this point…if we lose on sunday then I will be the first to bash him, and I mean BASH him!
I am sure he will do good enough to manage the game and not lose it for us
-
Oh s**tttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttt!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
i rather have clements over sanchez
-
OK, oh crapppppppppppppppppppppppp!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
While I figured it would have been better to start KC in the beginning of the season over MS, his preseason performance made me think twice about my own notion. Of course I will still root for the guy since he’s going to be the QB just skeptical and worried of what he’s capable of since he couldn’t beat out MS during the preseason! This guy knows the playbook but it doesn’t show!
-
Derrick G is right, I’d rather have Nate Clements over Lupe Sanchez any day of the week. Nate’s made a Pro Bowl, but Lupe was never anything but a back up DB for the Steelers.
-
Hey hey, eminem is going down in history as one of the most lyrical mcs
He does have some screw loose though lol
-
Marshall Mathers? Was he the Beaver? No, I guess that Jerry Mathers, I always get the 2 mixed up. “Gee, Wally….”
-
I talked earlier this season about giving Sanchez a few weeks off to help him get the pressure off his back and some of you hated me for it. I believe this time off for Mark Sanchez will be a blessing in disguise. I don’t know but a rookie, even a very good can feel too much pressure. Hey he should beused to it right? The NFL is a whole new monster to anything before for him. He now knows what to expect and start to relax out ther and his mind is going to be clearer the second time around. The rookie wall was reached and gotten out of the way I hope. Now he needs to slowly come back up from it to regain confidence, destroy the competition, and I see you guys as contenders next year. I don’t know about this year though.
-
ok KC its time to put up or shut up or get the hell out this is his chance if he blows it, get rid of him.
-
I’ve said this before, but I have to say it again- sure, Kellen could come out and play solid and get us the win. We probably haven’t seen enough of him and the 1st-team reps can’t hurt. And the Bucs suck, ofc.
But WHY, oh why, in a million years, would you EXPECT him to do a good job?! It’s completely bewildering! He has shown NOTHING, EVER, to make you expect a strong performance. Fingers crossed.
-
Aikman even mentioned on the Thanksgiving game, that sitting out due to injury in his rookie season was helpful to him, in that it made him see the game from a different perspective. He mentioned that it seemed to have a similar effect on Matthew Stafford as well. Who knows, this could be a blessing in disguise. As of right now, there’s nothing anything we can do, Clemens is the starter, lets give him our full support and hope we win the game!
-
Guys,
I could start for this team on Sunday. You all know deep down it doesn’t matter. If you’ve been a fan for more than 10 years, you know that the wins over Carolina and Buffalo were all setting up one thing:
A loss to a pitiful 1-11 Tampa Bay squad after the team gave us one last glimmer of hope.
The combination of fortuitous AFC losses last week will only be salt in the wound. Everyone and their mother (and probably everyone on the Jets squad) has their sights set on Indy next week, not Tampa this week. It’s the nature of the beast, and it’s the one we chose, so let’s save all the “Will Clemens play well?? Will he remember not to throw interceptions?” and savor the two-wins in one week and not forget: you’re a Jets fan, and this is what they do well… blow it when it seems like it’s in the bag.
Clemens could play like Dan Marino, but the fact is, the gods decided our fortunes long before Kellen was born, and this game will be a loss. I’ve never been more confident of anything in my life.
DB.

Dave b we definitely don’t need your negativity and your opinion that we are going to lose….if you are a die hard jet fan you will root and have hope for this team, in words of a buddy of mine, GO KICK ROCKS!
-
Of course I’m gonna root. Season tick holder, I go to every home game… that’s not the point.
This is a message board, not the stands on game day. Based on my experience watching this team for years, week in and out, just my opinion, obviously a little sarcastic and a sincere hope that we actually pull it out. But if you look at the next two games, chances are that we win against the Bucs and lose to the Colts, which means it’s most likely we’ll lose to the Bucs and miraculously beat the Colts.
-
Sanchez needs to start every game possible to experience every different type of game situation. Peyton Manning said that starting his 1st season was invaluable to his success in his Pro Bowl, playoff bound second season. The only silver lining that I can see is that maybe the team will be on edge because KC is starting and won’t have the type of letdown that dave b describes.
-
Dave, I can’t believe you would say such a thing. You’re acting as if you’re a fan of the Lions, Browns, Bills, Redskins..etc.
This team is one in the upper half of the league the past 10 years in terms of wins and playoff appearances. -

Keep the negativity out of here. -
dave b sounds like the guy that Bill Simmons quoted:
Meanwhile, this e-mail from Andrew in New York (sent Sunday) sums up the Jets to a T:
“I have never been more sure of a Jets victory than I was this weekend against the Panthers. Not for one second did I think they would lose and I know for a fact that they will beat the Bills this Thursday. Do you know why I know this? Because this is what they do. They will beat Buffalo and get people talking about possible playoffs and all that BS, and then they will lay an egg against 1-10 Tampa in Week 14. I have never been more sure of something before in my life. This schedule and season has been mapped out for this event from the get-go. It almost makes too much sense. Mark my words, Simmons. This is happening.”
(You know what’s sad? I picked the Jets on Thursday night solely because of this e-mail.)
Simmons (and ESPN, generally) are Jets haters (latest power ranking as the worst 6-6 team and behind 5-7 Titans). Best thing the Jets can do is go out like they did in 2007 against the Fins and destroy the Bucs.

Is ronnie serious or being sarcastic
-
*CURSE WORD, CURSE WORD, CURSE WORD CURSE WORD*
DAMNIT SANCHEZ!
-
DAVE, DID YOU EXPECT A SUPER BOWL RUN WITH A ROOKIE QB AND ROOKIE HC?
OR DID U EXPECT A SEASON ENDING IN .500 OR BETTER WITH HIGH HOPES TO LOOKING FORWARD TO NEXT YEAR?
SERIOUSLY, IM GLAD YOU ARE ROOTING BUT THIS IS NOT THE “SOJ” AS YOU LONG TIME FANS SAY…IM ONLY 22 AND BEEN A JET FAN FOR ABOUT 10 YEARS, SO I DON’T FEEL THE SAME PAIN YOU LONGER FANS DO BUT C’MON MAN, WE HAVE A GOOD TEAM AND WE ARE ONLY GOING TO GET BETTER! LETS JUST HOPE FOR A WIN THIS SUNDAY AND HOPE SOME TEAMS LOSE TO HELP US OUT
-
re Sack Dance
absolutely abhor simmons, haven’t read his articles since 2007. he’s one of the worst jets haters simply because he pretends to be an objective writer.
if simmons and i agree that the jets are destined to lose to tampa, i would respectfully retract my statement, solely out of pure hatred for that guy.
-
Whoa, I’ve been reading this blog for a while, didn’t remember this many delusional Jets fans being on here, but guess I should be careful with my words.
You’re right, same way when we were 8-3 last year, there was no way we would lose to Oakland or San Fran or (gasp) Seattle!
-
YEA YOUR RIGHT DAVE, HOW COULD WE HAVE BEATEN SAN FRAN AND SEATTLE WITH AN INJURED QB….WHAT A SHAME RIGHT
-
Bad thing about the JUMBO package: means that Ben “Worst Time To Make A Penalty Ever” Harstock is probably on the field…bound to commit a penalty at the worst possible time.
I’m thinking that Clemens starting is going to mean a lot more Clowney-ing around, which is an upside. They had some new plays that incorporated Clowney against the Bills, would like to see a couple reverses to Clown, and even, dare I say it, a Clown-Down-Town.
One thing about Clemens has been his accuracy, he throws a lot of balls over his receivers’ head. If he can control his placement, don’t really see any reason he can’t manage the game.
-
THIS SO CALLED TRAP GAME ON SUNDAY SHOULD SHUT UP ALL THESE SOJ SKEPTICS
-
Thank you, Bent.
I’m sorry that I’ve driven Ronnie to use the “All Caps” key. However, it does have the intended effect of getting his points across most effectively.
-
sorry, not ronnie, *m eazil.
In any event, Go Jets, don’t turn it over, good night.
-
THAT’S THE SPIRIT DAVE! BE POSITIVE, NO NEED FOR NEGATIVITY! WE WON 2 IN A ROW NOW LETS MAKE IT 3! GO JETSSSS!
-
You should strongly consider physically removing the caps-lock key from your keyboard.
-
Wow didn’t think the caps could really be that annoying
-
I’d rather have Roger Clemens
This is scary… an overconfident fan base, a one win team with Veteran Defense (Ronde Barber) that beat a good Green Bay team, and a backup QB “vet” who looked lost last week and couldn’t beat out a rookie with one year of college experience.
Shouldn’t we just let Revis play QB? Id probably feel better about that.
-
Many people equate it with shouting in the face. That’s all. We enjoy your posts, but a conversational volume is appropriate :-)
Really just teasing, shout if you must – we’re football fans after all
lol
-
Just watched the Clemens interview on Jets Open Mic on SNY—-you can like or not like the guy as a player—but he is a class act.
-
“Those who ignore history are doomed to repeat it.”
The Jets need to keep their own history (of losing to crap teams when the season is on the line) front and center in their minds while game planning this week. We need to go into this game thinking the Bucs are the Pats, and prepare the hell out of the O, the D, and ST.
But frankly, the fact that Clemens is starting scares the shhhhhlit out of me.
I hope we win this one–if we don’t, I may just heave all over my TV.
-
Just want to point out that we do not play Indy next week…we play atlanta…so i dont think looking ahead to Indy is a fair assessment….by the way…since we dave b brought it up..in looking ahead…how happy is everyone that turner and ryan are out
-
WHAT ABOUT ERIC AINGE????
-
The beauty of this move is that if they lose to a 1-11 team with their backup, they don’t deserve to make the playoffs anyway, and if they win, it gives the Jets more of a boost for the final three games, knowing they are a better team than the sum of the parts.
-
And also what johnny said — it gives MS another week to heal, to watch the game from the sidelines, take a deep breath, and put this offense on his shoulders when we need him most.
-
Will Turner and Ryan be out when Atlanta visits the Jets next Sunday?
-
When the Bucs stuff the box with 9 or 10, i want to see Shonn Greene take the carries, not Jones. Greene seems to collect more yards after getting hit than Jones does. I also wanna see Schotty try some plays with both Jones and Greene in to throw the d off.
-
Yes Ryan, dave b has never been so confident of anything in his life as much as the Jets losing to the Bucs because they are looking ahead to the Colts next week, yet they play the Falcons next week, a team that has their QB and RB injured and with a loss to N.O. this week are eliminated mathematically from the playoffs. If you’d like to call next week’s Falcon game a trap game, so be it.
-
We’re screwed. I wonder how bad Chez;s knees must be if KC is getting the start. Forget about winning this game. Forget about the playoffs.
-
And I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again: Every team loses to bad teams — and most of them have gut-wrenching, season-ruining ones to teams they should have beaten. But to EXPECT that to happen to your team in any given week says more about the person than it does about the situation. It happens on occasion, and no one KNOWS what will happen. The optimist has good feelings, the fatalist expects the worst.
-
Thanks for your insight LMP23.
-
This isn’t a ‘trap game’…jets aren’t good enough to go against teams and overlook them. Having said that I do expect Jets to win though Bucs are a more competent team with freeman at QB. I don’t look at this year as “Let’s Get Lucky and Sneak into Playoffs” chant that everyone has started because it would be getting your hopes up for no apparent reason….I want to see Sanchez rest and show the last 3 weeks something we could look forward to for many years ahead…..and of course another 3 interception from Hell Rell.
-
Dave,
These so called trap game losses happen to everyone. The raiders have beaten the eagles, steelers and bengals. The Bucs beat the Packers. Bills beat the Dolphins.Anything can happen on any given sunday.
The Bucs, Jets and Lions came into the season with rookie QB’s and rookie head coaches. Look at our record compared to them.
If you say we have better talent then why are you complaining about this team. Would you rather have a team with no talent and be 2-14 or a competitive team at 8-8 with a solid future. -
With 4 years under his belt he better dhow something. For his sake.
-
Sanchez hasnt been great so I am happy to see Clemens start
-
I always said when everyone fell in love with Sanchez and after he was named the starter in the beginning of the year. “If something happens to Sanchez, Kellen Clemens is our backup plan” So it ain’t so great.
-
Kellen is starting….. I’m not happy so I’m done talking about that now.
Changing gears…
Based on how Tony Richardson played last Thursday I hope he gets to carry the ball more and I hope he gets that elusive TD!!By the way does anyone know when Tony scored his last TD?
-
Sanchez has NOT benn instrumental in a single win this year. He has cost us between 2-3 games. I’m not sure what everyone is upset about. The Jets are playing great D with a running attack now. We don’t lose much with KC at QB.
No doubt Sancehez is better but this offense is not based on the QB anyway. -
damn……..ok,
Lets go Clemens. Win this, so we can keep this playoff bug alive.
-
JF4L -
Richardson’s last TD was a receiving TD with KC in 2005. His last rushing TD came all the way back in 2002. So yeah, it’s been a while since T-Rich got to punch one in.
WW85 -
Agree wholeheartedly. Summed up my thoughts. Anyone who’s panicking (at least for this week) is either paranoid or isn’t very familiar with this team’s style. Again, they’re the Bucs. If Sanchez was going to have to be the difference this Sunday, we’re in big trouble anyway. Now, if Clemens is starting the Atlanta game, I’d worry. But I believe this move was made with the last three, much tougher, games in mind and the need to have Sanchez at 100% for those. It’s the right call by Rex and we’ll be fine.
-
Re: the falcons/colts… yea I misspoke, I was just typing stream of consciousness, but the point’s the same. This has all the classic aspects of a trap game, because our more formidable opponents are coming afterwards, and this is the proverbial calm before the storm…and the bucs are gelling. Their “worst in the NFL” run defense played pretty well against the Falcons (yes, I know Turner was hurt, but Snelling and Norwood are nothing to scoff at), and Freeman’s got an opportunity to show us what we passed up on. He’s been finding Bryant and Winslow, and he’s got a big arm.
The point was not that I expect them to lose because they’re not as talented as the Bucs, nor that I hope they lose…goes without saying it’s the opposite. Knowing this team and watching how they’ve performed, this game has all the makings of a trap. Guess it was too obvious to state for some of you, and incredibly offensive to others. Luckily, though, in real life, comments on thejetsblog message board don’t affect the outcome of a Jets game in Tampa.
Greg in Section 130 can pat himself on the back for expecting his team to win week in and out. Others, though, who actually think about a game as opposed to just blindly shaking their pom poms might see that this is going to be a difficult match up for reasons that don’t necessarily come down to pure talent.
Wentworth: I don’t even know what you’re talking about.
Hope I’m wrong, hope Kellen looks a lot better than he did last week, and hopefully our run will get going and Kellen throws less than 20 passes. See everyone that goes to the games when we play ATL…….
-
This is his Cassel moment to get PAID!
-
Let’s get POSITIVE! Clemens won’t throw many picks…so at the very least if the D holds and we can truck the Bucs D with our running game I can see a 17 – 6 jets win. Let’s keep hope alive.
GO KELLEN!
-
I would rather have Sanchez or Ainge but, if we have to play Clemens, it is not the end of the world. Remember, the eight or so games that he started for us were behind a horrible offensive line, with half of the weapons that this team has. Now that he knows he is starting, with a week of practicing with the ones, it should be a whole nother world for Clemens. He will do the job.
-
Bottom line is that the guy is starting and he actually has a good cast around him. It woun’t be like it was two years ago. He has a decent o-line now. As long as the dude stays calm hands the ball off to TJ 25-30 times we will win. I am confident that the dude can hit cotchery on a 10 yard slant and he would only need to throw the ball deep a minimal number of plays. We are ok for sunday. Let’s go Jets
PS I think the wheels are falling off in New England. Its only a matter of time before Moss blows up. And why does he look more like a homeless person than a football player these days?
-
Whether we like it or not, its happening this Sunday.
My hope is that Rex is firing up our defense to go out there and “unleash hell” on Josh Freeman.
If we play D the way we are capable of playing D vs this horrid Bucs team, its not going to matter how KC plays unless he turns the football over.
In Revis, DH, Ellis and Scott we trust!!!!
-
Joe B – Thanks!!
-
dave b – I understand your point with the trap game, but if the Jets do lose this game it wont be because they overlooked the Bucs and fell into the trap. It will be just another example of inconsistent play in a season of inconsistency. Such is life under a new coaching staff with a new QB.
-
dave B, I get where you are coming from.
When I saw that Kellen was starting, I heard the song lyrics,” Turn out the lights , the party’s over, all good things must come to an end.”
As much as I have bashed Ainge, and he deserves it for screwing UT in critical situations, I would rather see Ainge than Kellen.
Kellen sacked himself in the last game he played and unless we hurry up and sign a blade of grass as a WR we are not going to see many completions.
My point is that I don’t feel we have a great chance of beating TB, but we still do have a chance allbeit a small one.
Maybe the elf can pull one out here so close to the holidays.
This is terrible news, hope Sanchez gets well.
Go JETS!!!!!!!
-
plain and simple. if kellen losses this game hes done. completely done. not only will the jets dump him but i will then bash him everytime brought up in conversation and if i ever saw him in public i will make sure he knows how bad he F’ing blows.
First play in last game hes running around stumbling over his own feet.
i hate rex taking away and trying to change the way mark plays his heart out telling him to slide gimme a break this is football.
-
dude? dont feel we have a good chance of beating tampa are you kidding me. we are better then themat every single position on the football field. even if we started ainge at QB which if there is god id like to see kellen go down n ainge come in.
-
If KC throws 5 TD s in this game (will not happen), he is still done in NY and Sanchez will start next the next game if healthy.
I am looking for a 13-19 140 Yds 1 TD 1INT line from him. Take a few shots down the field and then hit the check-downs on low risk passes.
Jets D should control this game and we get Mark back next week to get us to 8-6 heading down to the last 2.
-
This game is not a trap.
A trap happens when a good team has a cushion and is looking ahead to an important showdown with a top opponent. Not the case here. No one is looking ahead to ATL next week.
The Jets have no right to be overlooking any opponent, no matter who starts at QB. They are fighting for their playoff lives, one and done.
IF they lose it means they are simply not that good.
-
Right WOJF,
dave b thought we played Indy next week and took some heat for it.
And I never said I expect my team to win week in and week out, maybe some people do, but I do expect them to beat the teams they are better than. Only a pessimist like yourself would expect them to lose to an inferior team. Do you seriously favor the Bucs matchup here? Come on. The Jets defense and rushing attack is top-notch, they are coming together as a unit, and the Bucs have looked good at times, but are by no means a better team than the Jets. The Jets should win this game, and if they don’t it’s because they spit the bit, not because the Bucs are better, and it certainly won’t be because they are looking ahead to Indy, as your silly original point was.
-
And finally, it’s great that you can apologize for mistakenly saying the next game is against Indy, but that was the crux of your original comment, which ended with you saying you were never more confident of a Jets loss than anything in your entire life. That you used incorrect information to make such a bold statement is what people took as offensive.
How about this: if you are more confident of a loss Sunday than anything in your life, surely you would give me a mere 100-1 odds on a $5 bet, right? Sure you’d be rooting for the Jets as a Jet fan, but based on your knowledge of the game you’d be hedging your bets nicely to win the sure thing $5.
-
We still should win. There’s no excuse. Our zone blocking scheme should dominate their front 4. The average weight of their D-line is 287.75. If the Jets don’t have a Bills-level running day then it will be embarrassing (and also lethal because that means Clemens is going to have to win it for us).
I have no worries about the defense, these guys are built around pride and they won’t for 5 seconds think that they are guaranteed the win.
So Kellen, enjoy the game, have fun and be relaxed, hand it off 45 times and take advantage of the play action. The pieces are in place for you to be successful, we just haven’t seen anything that is confidence-inspiring. Prove us wrong.
-
I skipped down and didnt read all of the posts, but I hade to smile at Daves comments.
I have been living and DYING with the Jets for 25 years. His points are valid.
-
Clemens won’t turn the ball over 5 times and thats important, He is just being asked to manage the game. He will exceed your expectations and play fairly well. As for people calling for Eric Ainge, thats ludicrous. Ainge has has a few good preseasons against 3 third string, sound familiar, yep thats exactly what happened with Kellen. At least Kellen has some experience with regular season and is a class act and deserves his shot.
-
People just dont listen. They really dont.
Being a Negitive Nancy is not doing anything but softening your expected failure. In saying, I KNEW IT, if they do lose. That is not being a fan.
Man up, root for you team, take in some pride. We are the Number 1 rushing team and have the number 2 D.
Its December football, plus even Phil Simms likes where this jet team is heading and picked them to make the playoffs, same with warren sapp.
-
i think kellen will get it done. if he doesnt fumble the 40 exchanges that i want to see him TJ , and shonne greene have.
if he goes 12-19 145 yards 1 td 1 int. We win.
if he goes 18-30 177 yards 1 td 3 picks and a fumble we wont. -
and i agree 110% with fire tannenbaum
-
casino man. your just saying we easily beat the falcons to lol? i wouldnt get that excited… lets take care of these bucs . we are a better team all the way around but they are playing well recently there staying in games. and we cant have them stick around because then any mistake by kellen will be crucial. we need to bury them and bury them early. or ill be sick

You hit it right on the head.
Run the ball a lot.
Use the jumbo package.
Use play action to throw deep only.
I have no confidence in Clemens with throws in 7-12 yard range.
Also, Clemens must be on code red the entire game.
