Thanks guys, so they could possibly still get something for Clemens, another reason to root for him to have a big game Sunday.

Victor was awesome. A SS leading the team in tackles year after year is absurd, but he did it when the team was both bad and good. One of my favorite all-time Jets.

Not only is TJ the most undervalued player on the Jets roster, he most likely is the single most undervalued player in the league!

On some given Sundays lately, I think even Victor could step back in at 40 and take Kerry's job.

My lord, Victor was good. Sometimes, even the only decent DB we had -- the only one teams had to account for. And he STILL made plays...

Whoops, thanks Bent, I haven't had my morning coffee so my brain is operating at about 10% efficiency, as opposed to the 15% it's at normally.

Brandon Moore might be undervalued by most people, but Cimini makes up for it by overvaluing him at every opportunity.

Part of me does still wonder what might have been if we signed fat polamalu. *Sigh*

To avoid confusion, yes wise, you're correct, but I believe Brandon meant to say "assuming there's NO CBA in place".

If there is a CBA, Clemens will probably leave as a UFA but if he plays well enough Sunday to earn a shot elsewhere, that might factor into 2011 compensatory picks.

And before people get on me -- I was not saying TJ isn't good, more that he DOES get the accolades he deserves and is thus not "undervalued"

WOJF,

You are correct. If the Jets choose, they can tender him as a RFA and either trade his rights or let someone else offer him a contract and get compensation for him. This, of course, assuming there is CBA in place for next season.

Greg,

I wholeheartedly agree with you about Moore. I don't understand why this guy gets ragged on by fans. He's big, mean and consistent. Him and Woody are like a snow plow out there. But I do think Jones is as good as his numbers indicate. I mean, he's been consistently getting those yards ever since becoming a full-time starter. Even I get frustrated with his patient style sometimes, but I'd rather steady yardage than a boom-or-bust type guy. With Leon, we had both, but if forced to pick one or the other for a full season I would have to go with a guy who just produces on a consistent level throughout the season.

(BTW, before the masses descend upon me, I am not saying I would rather have Jones than Leon, just their style of player over the long haul - which I'm sure the masses will descend upon me for anyway).

Are you kidding me with that Brady crap? Impending fatherhood effected his play? How many professional athletes have children that we barely hear about? Does that effect their play and do we make excuses for them if it does?

Give me a break.
