Photo Gallery: The New Meadowlands Stadium

By Bassett on 17. Dec, 2009

It only took me more than 18 hours, but I finally figured out how to extract some (which I did totally randomly) of the images from Jose to gmail. Plenty of images after the jump.

As someone who saw my first Jets game at Shea Stadium, all I can say is Wow! I don’t know if it’s worth the price, either in construction or for a ticket, but it’s pretty impressive as a building.

Im the one that sent him the pics, and to answer fred question yea its free and u can bring 3 guest, the sucky part is that those hard hats that u wear u have to give them back, I was so upset, I was lookin foward to keepin them so was everyone else, we grew attached to them, lol, if u get a chance to go, do it, its great, I will never forget it

My best friend and his union are laying the tile for the building.. The entire statium is amazing.. Oh and you can buy those hardhats for like $15 at home depot, at least you can in Monmouth County.

Those upper deck seats are a LONG way from the field. Bring your binoculars, you non-seat license types.

This was completely unecessary, the old stadium is fine, except for the name and location of course.

    Great pictures.

I’m quite excited for the move into the Slinky.

If the concourse is wider so you can get to the bathrooms and back at halftime without missing a play, then it’s already an improvement.

To WOJF, actually, I went to the top section, and still they r good seats, everything is upclose, any seat in the staduim is a good site, seriously

I am JLB brother i was there, its pretty crazy, i cant wait till its completely done. Fred, the invite is 100% real, thats how we got in, i dont think any seat in the stadium is bad un less your afraid of hieghts (like me lol) the design of the stadium makes it feel alot closer then the current stadium and its about 2 and a half times bigger. Amazing. Go here for a virtual tour. http://www.newjetsstadium.com/home.php

    WOJF,

You can’t be serious. Giants Stadium is a dump. The corridors are wayyyyy too narrow. It takes like an hour to walk out of a packed stadium from the upper deck. Not a problem if the game is one like this year’s Pats game (which I was at), but a problem if you are at this year’s Bills game.

I will never forgive the Jets for buying back into the Meadowlands. Congratulations everyone. Another 30-40 years of the New Jersey Jets.

And where would you like to put the stadium? The name ‘Meadowlands’ itself has more history to it than some of the teams that play in the NFL, it only makes sense.. Btw: Jersey owns the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island too, how long have you been complaining about that? Lol its an excellent location for the stadium, and I’ll be damned if the Jets play at ‘Giant Stadium’ any longer.

[...] Check out a whole bunch of pics of the new Meadowlands stadium. Someone must have posed as a potential season-ticker buyer. These pics are pretty good, so maybe I’ll cancel my trip there this weekend. (thejetsblog) [...]
