Week 15 Injury Report & Notes – Jets vs Falcons

Appearently the Falcons were able to make it to New Jersey before the big snow storm that hit and according to Daniel Levak (Falcons Director of New Media) they were just about to miss “the real blustery stuff.” A little blustery in the Hundred Acre Woods is it?

By the way the game is still on for 1:00 despite the snow storm.

  1. What’s the issue w/ Mangold?

That would be rough if he was out :(

  2. Ryan expects Mangold to play he has just been ill so that is why the Jets have him listed as questionable.

  3. Let’s hope it was just a precaution. He had a day off to recuperate.

  4. Can’t believe this game is still on for 1:00. They’ve pushed back the Philly and Baltimore game times to help with snow removal, and the snow storm ends a lot sooner there.

  5. Yeah Bent, I hope it is a precation because Turner is out too. Who would fill in if the viking was out??

And they should def push the game back.

  6. Got to wonder how this will affect Matt Ryan and Michael Turner … The Falcons might consider sitting them another week if conditions will be a little slick.

  7. Slauson replaces Mangold if he is out….He stepped in for him last week for a play or two.

ummm lets hope #74 is resting up and ready to roll tomorrow.

Still cant believe the game is still on for 1:00. Have the Falcons even landed yet?

  8. One other option (say Slauson did have to play but struggled or also got hurt) would be to move Woody to C and Hunter can play RT.

  9. Leon Washington just got hitched. Poor guy.

  10. what happened to leon?

  11. Broken leg, no new contract and married all within a few months…… you got to feel for this kid….lol

  12. Well, the bright side of not gettin a big new contract is she cant get half of nothing

  13. With the Cowboy victory, the Falcons were eliminated. Wonder if Ryan and Turner will play for them now?

  14. Kdbart,
I was going to say the exact same thing.
Considering the horrible weather and the fact that they now have nothing to play for, I can see them sitting both Ryan & Turner.

The punting game will be huge tomorrow, hopefully Weatherford will have a good day.

  15. we have no reason to push the game back to 4 because the other games were pushed back because the visiting teams couldn’t get there on time. hopefully turner will sit another week because of the conditions. matt ryan can try and pass here all day and it won’t be a problem for us. gotta trust our running game tomorrow. oh and shonn greene definitely can’t touch the ball. his hands are horrible in dry conditions, imagine what they could be in the snow.

  16. this is our game…all we gotta so is play our game run the ball and play d. they don’t have turner and i doubt that ryan will play. their front 7 is decent but with our line there’s no reason why we shouldn’t dominate. RUN and D.
