I’ve said it all year…Rex is a god. I give him and Tanny all the credit in the world for turning this franchise around. Does anyone doubt that this team NEVER does this with Mangini at the helm? Well, anyone beside Hank and Hank jr.?
I would like to especially thank Brett Favre for tanking it last season. Had he managed to make the playoffs last season we’d still be stuck with Eric and possibly with Brett too. No Rex and no Sanchez. What a horrible thought.
One game away from the big one. We all know it CAN happen.

What an amazing game. Not only is Rex a great playcaller, and defensive mind, he is one of the smartest and media savvy coaches I’ve seen in a long time. I think everything he says is very calculated, and has a point to it. Saw a quote from Bart Scott in the recap and he said don’t pay attention to the words he uses, but the content. Set the bar high, and then go out there and believe you can do it! And they are doing just that. IT got everyone in the media and fans saying he was nuts, but the players love it, and will run through walls for him.

What more REALLY can be said about the great job that has been done with this organization? From owner Woody Johnson, Tanny, and Rex Ryan and his staff. We have a bunch of ragtag no names on defense who continue to befuddle the critics in the media, and the opposing teams as well. We have a coach who didn’t receive one vote for Coach of the Year, a shutdown corner who didn’t even come close to winning DPOY and a team who’s been disrespected as being unworthy to be in the playoffs. Yet with all the adversity, it is the good teams which overcome, which show character, that play with a determination of a gladiator, to the death. Now the Jets are the story line of sport, they are the watch out for team, they are the one team no one want’s to play this time of the year. This team in 6 weeks has transformed itself into what we hoped it could become in the preseason before one game was played a contender. They are contenders, the pretenders have folded, the question was answered yesterday, JETS 17 Chargers 14. Its been a long time waiting, but today I am more than proud of my team, and “I AM A JETS FAN” HEAR ME ROAR!

Guys like Hank and Fonzie, who never strapped on a helmet and cracked heads for 4 qrts with a group of guys that you bleed with all season, they dont understand how to “buy in” and truly get behind something. Its not about individualism, but the collective good of the group…with them, it ME FIRST
Which is why they dont deserve to say anything or celebrate with the guys who never stopped believing
