If football didn’t work out for Rex, he could’ve gone into pro wrestling — anybody that can go into a place like that and talk trash with thousands of fans would’ve made a great heel.

Rex is crazy! He probably had big Jenks and Mangold with him though,that would make me alot more cocky too.
I read that Hardknocks story yesterday. I think it would be great as long as it doesnt give away any of our strategy. I am all for more Jets exposure.

“As his WFAN interview with Mike (Sports Pope) Francesa progressed, it was apparent Tom Coughlin was being granted special dispensation from His Holiness.
Francesa was deferential. He didn’t exactly pin Coughlin to the wall on how much blame the coach deserved for the Giants’ embarrassing, heartless performance during most of the season, especially down the stretch.
Perhaps the Pope was feeling guilty over the recent verbal beatdowns he put on Ryan, the Jets and fans of a team that actually made the playoffs and appeared in the AFC title game. Maybe the benevolent one just didn’t have the heart to stick it to another coach.
When the interview with Mr. Coughlin was over, Francesa could have used a towel. After going that deep in the tank, drying off was a necessity.”
