Somewhere in the Desert Kerry’s tears are being swept away by the sands.

  2. avatar Le' Sean Roberts says:

Now, for Jared Odrick and Dan Williams that’s crazy…..No Sam Bradford?

  3. avatar WillMX says:

You know those quarterbacks don’t wanna wind up like Brady Quinn

  4. avatar C Low says:

Fatcesa is killing the Jets right now for getting way too desparate.

  5. avatar EddersMFC says:

    C. Low, I was just going to post the same thing.

I havent listend to him since before the AFC championship game. after 5 minutes today I’m already very annoyed with him.

the man needs a slap !

  6. avatar starz31 says:

haha…he’s just mad the Giants aren’t on it. Or his good friends team, the Dolphins. The jets get good publicity, why would he not champion that?

and desperate for what? Its a sound business-decision IMO.

  7. avatar Eddie DiGio says:

Yea Fat Mike is doing this for one reason

TO STIR THE POT!!!! HE IS TRYING TO BLOW UP THE PHONE LINES ON A THURSDAY WITH NO BASEBALL AND TERRIBLE NY BASKETBALL!!!!

Dont buy into his crap…if Francesca worked for the Jets and his livelihood depended upon selling seats and PSLs he would be singing a different tune…how dare he tell the Jets how to run their business. Hey MIke, how many Super Bowl have you won??? Thats right zero

Francesca thinks because he is friends with Parcells that in some way he helped win those Giant Super Bowls…

The Jets arent the Yankees, Rex is a Baltimore guy (Billick and Marvin Lewis have done the show too btw), and this isnt Mangini’s Jets, GET THE F@CK OVER IT!!!!

  8. avatar BrooklynJets says:

I can not stand Mike Francesca. He boils my blood.

  9. avatar reality jet fan says:

Bart scott who i love and all of you do. He is the team leader and in my opinion runs that defense is worried about it being a distraction. But what does he know he is just a player. I would love to know if the players had a say in this dumb attempt at publicity.

Damn, if Gholston ever panned out we would have a sick d!

  13. avatar reality jet fan says:

Did u write you wanted that kid in the draft?

I saw that Bart Scott thing, I have to admit, it did get me thinking…

My only point is that the Jets arent a classless franchise for doing the show…

You want to argue what Bart Scott said, then I think you make a fair point

We will know after Sept if the Jets are 3-1 or 1-3 if this is a huge mistake or not

    Fair enough?

  15. avatar reality jet fan says:

Yes fair enough. I think that this move was 100 percent the owner.

  16. avatar Eddie DiGio says:

    reality jet fan

    Oh yeaaaaaaa…sorry dude

Yea I love the kid, think he is the edge rusher we need. Pure speed and agility off the edge and he is unstoppable bending around the tackle…

  17. avatar reality jet fan says:

I was researching him i think you are right and i am glad because i always enjoy having a player to root for in the draft.

Yea man…the only thing I’m afraid of is that Rex gets turned off by his size…he is only 6’2 255…but Suggs is 6’3 260

    Ok get ready for this…

The thing that pisses me off about Rex is that he is in LOVE with HUGE OLB’s…every guy has to be 6’5 270…that is my pet peeve with him…a guy like Hughes isnt his prototype

    See man….I can do it!!!!!!!!!!!LOL

  19. avatar reality jet fan says:

they have to go pass rusher?

  20. avatar Eddie DiGio says:

Even thought TCU is a small school…once in a while they turn out great pro’s (i.e Tomlinson)

What I like about Hughes is that his defensive play helped turn that team into a top 5 ranked team. Hughes also uses pass rush moves, unlike Gholston who just pushed around sub NFL talent in college

Who would have ever expected TCU to be in the top 5? Hughes talent has to be exceptional to help a team like TCU have such a great year

  21. avatar reality jet fan says:

Ialso never have a roblem with taking an offensive lineman.

  22. avatar reality jet fan says:

Just for the record i am completely on board with this coach. I have not been this excited since parcells. I also love the QB and have bought his green and titan jersey which i never do until more time put in. But the TJ release and hard knox is in my opinion the owNERS MOVES aND I HATE THESE MOVES WITH A PASSION.

  23. avatar Eddie DiGio says:

    Yes…if Hughes is there.

If Graham, Kindle or Hughes are gone though, we should look into the D Backs like Pat Robinson, Kyle Wilson or maybe even Devon McCourty. We cant take the wrong guy because DE’s in college, most of them have never played OLB in a 3-4. So you take a guy in round 2, because a lot of guys take a ton of time to get used to switching positions, a high bust rate like Gholston. Ricky Sapp and Greg Hardy are the most logical guys to fill that spot based on their size and athleticism

Another way they could go is The guard from Idaho is a bad mutha…great value if he is there

Tate would be good at 29 for WR, which I think is only a last resort, but Benn or Damian Williams would be a HUGE reach there, I would go NUTS

The Jets usually have a pretty good plan though under Mike T and the unsung hero, Joey Clinkskales, our head scout. The guy is amazing

I am perfectly OK with you not liking it because of what Bart Scott says…its a totally fair point

Part of why I am a Jet fan is the rebel old AFL mentality…I dont want to be like the Giants… I want Joe Willie on the sideline in the white spikes and mink coats with a bottle of Johnnie Black in his hand…

I understand what you are saying though because the Parcells-Belichick way works, no doubt about it…

Its just that for me, I dont want to be like them, I want to do it our own way, the Rex Ryan, big swinging d!ck, we’re coming after your QB and gonna stuff the ball down your throat way

  25. avatar reality jet fan says:

I agree with you especially the namath stuff. I like tate i just hate a wr in 1st round.

  26. avatar Give Leon The Damn Ball says:

I refuse to listen to that turd anymore. the way he constantly bashed the jets at the end of the season was the straw for me.

  27. avatar reality jet fan says:

Eddie did you ever wonder if mike francesca and rex had an inside thing going last year when mike was bashing them?

  28. avatar reality jet fan says:

Do you think maybe they were in on it together?

  29. avatar reality jet fan says:

I only say that because i remember a caller called up and said to mike ‘i bet you and rex laugh and have a beer about this’ and mike said ‘that caller knows what he is talking about’

  30. avatar Eddie DiGio says:

reality jet fan…sorry I had to go out real quick

I saw the same thing…the guy was like “nobody stirs the pot like Francesca…”

and Mike couldnt keep a straight face

something has to be going on we dont know about

  31. avatar reality jet fan says:

Yeah im glad you saw that.Because honestly i think mike likes rex.

  32. avatar reality jet fan says:

Eddie i think rex trying to get rid of leon for that 2nd rounder to go after marshall.

  33. avatar reality jet fan says:

Sorry I had an emergency in the house and was at the vet all night with my puppy…

Yes, I think he does too…with all the stuff he says, he always says Rex is a ” good coach”…he knows Rex is the real deal, there are only a few coaches that can impact a game with schemes like Rex can…Belichick, LaBeau on D and a Sean Payton, even McDaniels has at times, but the list is short and we have one of the best in the world

With regards to Marshall- we have to rob the Broncos to get him, I dont want to give up ANY of the guys we have right now to get this kid. I dont trust Marshall to do what it takes to win a Super Bowl, to push all his chips in and say “go for it”. All Ive seen from the guy is complete selfishness. His talent is undeniable but I dont trust him. I dont think we need him to win a ring and if he ever came here the guy would have to do a 180 for me to ever root for him…

“I’m excited for the young guys and ascending stars that can really get an opportunity to get exposure,” linebacker Bart Scott said Thursday afternoon after taping some “Buzz” cuts for HBO to hype Hard Knocks. “I think we can kind of take some of this momentum that we gathered last year and continue it. I think it’ll be good for the NFL and it’ll be good for the Jets as well.”

I guess we can dispense with the myth that Scott is against Hard Knocks now.
