Nothing wrong with jubilant celebrations, but in case you missed it over the weekend, this is the guy who will be lining up across from Calvin Pace, Bryan Thomas and/or Jason Taylor next year when they face the Patriots.

GRONK! GRONK! GRONK!

  2. avatar Wallace Wright fan says:

I was there, booed this guy initially because he was a pat but then when I saw how big of a f-ing douche bag he is my booing was justified, yelled get off the stage several times

This guy hopefully will get trucked by John Connor and then walked over by Shonn Greene come week 9.

  10. avatar vbsiena24 says:

Injuries should derail his career. He is going to get crushed running the way he does in this league

  11. avatar broward says:

I saw it…..they were celebrating on stage when other peoples names were being called that they were drafted….have some class…he’ll fit in well with the cheaters…..just hope he doesn’t thinl he’s gonna celebrate against the jets

  12. avatar GP says:

  13. avatar adornoj1 aka JetFan in Miami says:

    Gronk AKA…Spinal Stinosis lol

  14. avatar endzoneview says:

Hopefully this is his career highlight.

With Kyle Wilson, I’m no longer scared of slot receivers, just tight ends.

  15. avatar Zartan says:

really good pick, Bart Scott better be ready

  16. avatar nyr2k2 says:

Wow a whole family of f***ing morons.

  17. avatar starz31 says:

I laughed pretty hard when I saw, “2009: Did not play (back)”

i dont care if his value slipped or if its a testament of how good a prospect he is to be taken 42nd and not have played in a year…but seriously…the guy didn’t play at all in 2009. Its possible he wasn’t even the best TE they drafted.

I’m sure some veterans will have some fun with this clip when he shows up for training camp. what douche.

  18. avatar starz31 says:

    hahaha, nyr2k2

  19. avatar starz31 says:

    and he’s a junior…this kid is raw.

  20. avatar WW85 says:

This dude wasn’t worthy of a Jetsblog post.

  21. avatar bono-zoffa says:

    CP – Sweep the leg.

  22. avatar JUSTWIN says:

Tim Graham wrote a great story on Tanny. Check it out.

  23. avatar BigKatFan says:

i bet he spends 2010 on IR

  24. avatar Electric Ham says:

interesting story isnt he head of the players association or something?

Free agent C Kevin Mawae says he is “befuddled” that no team has signed him yet.
“I just came off my eighth Pro Bowl and a 16-game season and I can’t get one phone call,” said the 39-year-old. “Alan Fanaca gets cut two days ago and yesterday he signs a contract with another team. And not to take anything away from him, we have the same agent, we’re friends. But something tells me that there is something going on beside me just being 39 years old.”

  25. avatar jtray13 says:

    MASSHOLE!!!!! He’ll fit in fine…

  26. avatar sunsetmusic says:

    Electri Ham,

That is interesting, thx for posting.

  27. avatar rusty sanchez says:

i thought bradford was the #1 overall pick not gronkowski??seriously tho he seems like the type of guy who will most likely to be killed by his own teamates

  28. avatar AKA....Drew says:

    WW85

    I totally agree

  29. avatar firstdown77 says:

I agree, Mawae. Teams don’t want you because your association is causing trouble.

  30. avatar belvey631 says:

    O’doyle rules!!!

  31. avatar Shane L. says:

    @ firstdown77

Not that this is a big deal, but I think the owners are the greedy ones that will be responsible for a potential lockout. If I understand correctly, they want to cut the players’ salaries even though the NFL made its largest profit ever this year and ticket and merchandise prices continue to rise. A simple tshirt is like $20 at least and the cheapest seat in the house has to be at least $75. Insanity, the players deserve the money more than the already incredibly wealthy owners. Mawae should have a few offers, just not from MIA or NE I hope lol.

  32. avatar Steve in Philly says:

Mike R – Zack Follett is hilarious. I don’t know what is up with him or where he came from but he is probably the funniest thing I’ve seen in a long time. Quote from a post on KSK: zack follett is out of his mind. the jets should trade for him.

  33. avatar BamBam says:

looks like a meathead is gonna ruin the pats tradition of smart football.

  34. avatar Ed L says:

the owners cut the checks so they call the shots…just shut up and play

a good percentage of the players would be no where with out football…..

i won’t say majority because I am giving the players the benefit of the doubt that they paid attention in college

  35. avatar JP from LA says:

come on guys. you’re being way too harsh on this goofball. so what if he spazzed out? his family is obviously a bunch of meatheads. this is what he thinks is normal. and it’s kind of funny.

if any of us made it to the pros we would feel exactly like that kid. much to do about nada.

  36. avatar James in TN says:

    What is the relevance?

  37. avatar Sexy Rexy says:

we gotta get a nickname for this douche, something that gonna spread throughout the stadium.

  38. avatar Sexy Rexy says:

I get more pissed off every time I watch this video!!! they HAVE to play this in the Jets locker room PLEASE!!!!!!

  39. avatar Brendan says:

    Wow. Meatheads indeed…

  40. avatar JesusRevis says:

I was furious watching this guy after he got drafted. How come he was allowed to stay on stage like that?

  41. avatar joethejet says:

i think the had too much vodka and polish sausage right before they called his name
