- Donovan Warren wants to prove himself on the field and being Mark Carrier’s godson won’t do him any favors.
- A round of applause for the media blowing this story out of proportion.
- According to Faneca the Jets never asked him for a paycut.
- Time shall heal all thy wounds.
- Caleb Campbell is getting a second chance of life in the NFL.
- With 1,713 punts under his belt, Jeff Feagles retires from the game.

I think what they are saying is that police maybe weren’t involved?
If that’s the case, then SOMEBODY in the media needs to get in trouble for this. How can false reports like this go on without ANY accountability? Shameless jerks.
-
I think the Jets should of ask Faneca to get a pay cut and if he didnt accept then they should of cut him
-
everytime i click on the don warren link it takes me to a video of an autistic man who can draw rome from memory…he most definitly has an incredible talent… then i watched him draw tokeo…incredable…
-
The Post has really gone downhill on their Jets coverage. The 2 jerks writing articles couldn’t shine Cimini’s shoes. i just crossed them off my daily read list.
-
Sorry about that dakar, the link has been fixed but glad you liked the video!
-
E.
no problem…and thanks…
-
I hope that Holmes realizes the kind of scrutinity he is going to be under in NY and that any story that involves the police is not a good thing.
What happened to the link of the guy drawing Rome from memory?
-
after seeing how he stuck to golden tate he might be faster then the 2 times he ran the 40…i wouldn’t mind seeing how he runs after his ankle is 100%…maybe in the mid to high 4.4s…just sayin…

Bent or Basset!
Ed Reed- 4.57 40 yard dash at combine. 5′11″ 200lbs.
Donovan Warren 4.59 40 time at combine, 6′ 193 lbs.Similar #’s to Reed. Believe Mel Kiper said that he would of been the top CB if he stayed in school one more year, and even this year was considered top CB til his 40 time. So 1st round talent, 40 time killed him cause he was entering as a CB not a safety like Reed.
So with Warren’s skill set- great in coverage, great ball skills, athleticism, good height- can add some bulk and you know he will get extra coaching from his Godfather- former DB’s coach of Ravens now our DL coach; Could Warren be our free safety of the future?

for some reason i feel this is one of the better rookie udfa classes in a long time from what ive been reading on this site reamer warren basped and cumberland all have a great chance at making this team and contributing at the same time rather than just taking roster spots
-
posting this again here…if cumberland is good enough to make the team…we can use him or keller in the slot until holmes returns…i mean, at 6′4″ 250lbs and a 4.4 40…its obvious he can catch…we dont need coles…thats reciever speed…if he can run good routes…why not make him a reciever… full time…imagine the yards after the catch…it wont be easy for a CB to cover him and then on top of that make the tackle…i think it would be very interesting to see him as a wideout…anyway, just my thoughts…

I think an underlying issue here is the way the Jets seem to be using the media for damage control as they make unpopular moves
Leon’s reported contract offer last year
Thomas Jones being asked to take a pay cut before released
Faneca being asked to take a pay cut before being released
The coin toss fiascoAll of these have been debunked, and Faneca’s situation is the easiest to prove. If he found out he was released over the phone while out to dinner with Mangold then how could it have been a surprise to both of them? Id imagine he would be given ample time to think it over before just being dropped.
There are business moves we won’t like as fans but what really gets me is making a player look bad for the sake of the organization :-/

He may be one of those guys ,that just can’t run fast for no reason.Stick him on a guy and tell him to stay with him, then we’ll se what he’s really made of.

TJBfan,
agree, one too many of those type of rumors.
At the moment, i’m ready to sale my soul for a superbowl win.
-
further proof that the FO thinks that whoever starts at LG in 2010 wil be an upgrade over fanaca.
-
I’m with u Dakar- I like this guy Cumberland- 6’4″ 250lbs, ran a 4.45 and a 4.46, Vert. of 35 1/2, bench press 20 reps at his proday! At 6’4″ 250, thats a nice frame to add another 10lbs to make him 260lbs in about a year or so, to make him a capable blocker too! Him and Keller would be nice out there on double TE packages!
-
Dakar good idea. I dont want Coles either. Clowney, Brad Smith and one of these newbies can handle it.
-
Hmm 6’4 250 You Say ?
Antonio Gates was undrafted right? -

I was once asked to remove my headphones and after I did, they did not fill out a police report.
I know Santonio Holmes is rich and famous and all but why were the police involved at all if this was the deal?
