Link: Veteran Additions?

As we all know, QB Mark Brunell and LB Adalius Thomas are both on the radar for the Jets and Clifton Brown writes in The Sporting News that these guys are good fits for the Jets, based on their need.

I havent heard anything about Kevin Mawai. Granted I havent really paid a second of attention to what he has done on the field since he left the Jets. But if he was willing to take a minimum salary (and from the lack of interest teams are giving him it looks like he might have to) why couldnt we bring him to see if he could play LG? It would let Vlad develop a little and would obviously bring some veteran leadership to the locker room. (even though I think this whole chemistry nonsense to being WAY overplayed)

I think Mark Brunell has the best chance of any veteran addition of signing with the Jets. I did a depth chart slideshow (link in my name) and I wrote about Brunell’s possible signing.

Age, I agree with you about signing Kevin Mawai at the minimum for LG..Also, they should definitely sign Rex’s boy AD…Coles should also be signed if the price is right …Brunell would be a good back-up..
