Patriots Think Children Enjoy Meeting Interns & Betamax Cassettes

by Bassett on May 6th, 2010 at 8:15 am

You stay classy, entire New England Patriots Organization and your involvement in NFL Play 60!!

The students, even the staff, thought they were going to walk into the gym and meet the likes of Tom Brady or Randy Moss. Instead, they said they got a workout video projected on a wall.

The school said the letter the Dairy Association sent them gave them the impression that an NFL player would be at the school because it said a celebrity coach would be coming to their school and it featured a picture with a Patriots player.

Fabry said, “There was nobody there to unfortunately represent anyone who resembled a celebrity. It was an intern.”

The Patriots, NFL and Dairy Council said they never promised a player was coming. However, they now promise they will try to make that more clear in the future.

[…]

The Patriots also released a statement that said, “We will ask the dairy council to change the letter. The expectation of what schools are receiving has to be clear in the letter.”

Meanwhile, Brick visited a school in conjunction with the “Eat Right, Move More” program … just sayin’.

i just have to say that im always reading about how jets players are always reaching out and giving back to their respected cumminities…and homelands… whereas when it comes to the patsies its always a miscummunication of some sorts…just saying…our org. and those in it are much better then the liars in NE.just my thoughts…

In NE its always a misinterpretation or misunderstanding of the rules.

LMAO- they sent a projected film!! Thats terrible.

As I feel bad for the kids, my heart really has to go out to the poor intern who had to suffer the burning hate and disgust at the school that was aimed for Belijerk.

If I was the Jets, I’d immediately send Rex or someone fun to the school with a few hundred Jets t-shirts. How great would that go over?

I heard the Dolphins are sending Jeff Ireland to schools to ask inappropriate questions to children…

A ffew years ago the Patsies overtook the Fish as mý most hated team. This is mostly due to Bellicheats arrogance and his pompus behavior. I still would like to read the letter that went out in order to see the wording and see if they were indeed misleading their fans. Then I can dislike them even more.

  6. avatar Jetfan in Miami says:

Sorry Seth, living down here makes the fish my most hated nemesis…with the Patsies a hair behind them lol

Guys, you’re all missing the point. The Pats could not be any more philanthropic:

“The school said it was turning this negative into a positive by using this as an opportunity to teach letter writing.”

    LOL

  13. avatar JETS#1 says:

And yet were the most hated team in football?

  14. avatar MangoldenBoy says:

Def agree with everyone suggesting the NYJ go to the school and convert the kids while thier still innocent enough to be lured away from the most fiendish org in football.
