fyi – not a huge fan of these kinds of “quote posts”. i know you’re trying something new, but this doesn’t work for me.

Posted this on the heated Coles discussion but ill try here,

Off topic, my friend missed the Hard Knocks preview last night. Anyone have link to it? Also funny how during preview they showed clips from last years HK. Did you see the close up on LC? Who knew.

It’s being shown several times on Friday starting in the afternoon. Look for Countdown. If you have ‘browse by’ use title and it should come up as Countdown to Hard Knocks.

All I can think of after seeing this today is the way they show Peter Griffen nude

If only the Mets could get an intelligent, witty guy like Rex to run THEIR team… Jerry Manuel talks about “gangsta’” but Rex actually IS without trying.

nyjets EA: Jets also announced RB J. McKnight failed his conditioning run and was placed on the active non-football injury list.

Thats embarrassing. A RB should not fail a conditioning test. Especially not after that whole embarrassment earlier in the year. Get it together Joe!

    • avatar juunit says:

He’s going to be a bust. Most scat backs like him end up that way. Heck, even Reggie Bush hasn’t been a great success and he’s got a lot more talent than McKnight does.

      Embarassing.

Apparently Ainge placed on reserve list with undisclosed illness. Which I beleive means he doesn’t count against roster, needs to clear waivers, and then Jets can keep him.

      • avatar Bent says:

I think he must be going onto the temporary reserve list and then maybe the PUP, which is a temporary measure that enables you to rejoin the team later. You wouldn’t need to clear waivers.

It would have to be a pretty serious illness to land him on IR already. In fact, I think it’s too early for that.

  9. Just another quote to show that KSK Ryan is not that far from the actual thing.
