Q&A with Mark Sanchez

There was only a very short practice this afternoon, mostly comprised of drills. In fact, earlier today, Rex Ryan actually told us (the media) only half-joking that we didn’t need to bother to come.

As expected, neither Brashton Satele (ankle) nor Josh Mauga (concussion) practiced. Neither will play on Monday night against the Giants.

So, I thought it might be time to provide you with something else. I hope you find this Q&A with Mark Sanchez entertaining. I only had about 60 seconds to accomplish the interview or I would have asked more questions, and possibly more interesting questions. But, Sanchez is a busy guy and I didn’t want to be held responsible if he received a fine for being late to something.I’ll have a couple more of these over the next few days, unless you strongly object.

LZ: What is the worst thing your roommate, Santonio Holmes, has done?

MS: I asked him to pick up toothpaste for me when he was going to the store and he Tweeted it.

LZ: What do you like best about having Holmes as your roommate?

MS: Still searching for that.

LZ: What’s the best meal you’ve eaten so far in camp?

MS: Garcia’s (Mexican restaurant) and Pudgies Pizza.

LZ: What is Pudgies Pizza?

MS: Google it.

LZ: Most hours of sleep you’ve had since arriving at camp?

MS: Nine.

LZ: Weirdest guy on the team?

MS: Bart Scott.

LZ: Which guy has the most annoying habit.

MS: Mark Brunell is old. He has gas.

LZ: I don’t want to write that.

MS: It’s not true anyway.

LZ: What’s one thing we don’t know about Brian Schottenheimer.

MS: Write that he reads romantic novels. (Laughs)

LZ: (Eye roll)

LZ: Your best play of camp?

MS: The deep ball to LaDainian Tomlinson.

LZ: Who has the worst taste in music.

MS: Kellen Clemens can’t sing.

LZ: That’s doesn’t answer the actual question.

MS: Well, his singing really isn’t very good.
