Loved the episode clearly Rex is a special coach – as long as we don’t fall into the traps being planted by the media and turned into an angry mob looking for perfection we should be just fine. I’d be pretty upset if jet fans ultimately let the media dictate our feelings on Rex.

    Rex Ryan is the man!

Special Teams, Special Teams, Special Teams! We are blessed to have acoach like Westhoff. He’s a trooper and expects his guys to be too. Great Call Wethoff…”If They punt we’re goin bonzai!! Smitty you’re getting this!!!” Follwed by a blocked punt by E. Smith…awsome!

How much money does Sanchez make? Dissapointed in getting charged 59 cents per breadstick? Lol

Loved seeing Mangold v Jenkins reps.

The most disturbing thing about McKnight is that the Jets decided to trade Leon after drafting him. At this rate, he might not even make the team.

Does anyone know if Connor can run the football as well as block?

    Faneuf nailed it with this:

True, I am not a Jets fan, but even I was a bit offended by the opening montage of old Giants Stadium memories. This is “Hard Knocks – New York Jets,” and they put a shot of Bill Parcells being carried off the field by his Giants in the montage. Not cool.

That jumped out at me, too. No reason for it.

Gotta agree with these reviewers; Bart Scott’s line about McKnight taking a pay cut was the line of the night. That was gold.

  7. avatar Ed L says:

i would like more bart scott miked up air time…everything that comes out of his mouth is classic

  8. avatar Ed L says:

i think the one of the best highlights was when conner leveled chase blackburn…that was an awesome hit….he really is a great talent

  9. avatar SackDance99 says:

Maybe the reason McKnight wasn’t that great at running between the tackles was because Mangold wasn’t in. I had no idea Mangold was a legit mauler; I thought he was great, but not a road grader. Anyone who can put Big Jenks on his back is a certified bad mofo.

  10. Who would’ve guessed that in HK quotes about “dropping balls” wouldn’t be related to Braylon Edwards, and would actually be about Gholston!

    Bassett-

Please put this recap in tomorrow’s daily links. I was laughing out loud the entire time:
