On how excited he is to play the Patriots for a third time…
I’m very pumped. I think this whole team is pumped just to be in the playoffs for the second time in a row and (we are) just trying to get back to the AFC Championship game.
On having to go through New England to get to the AFC Championship game…
This is where it’s at. We get to see them for the third time in a year. This is the playoffs, you can’t shy away or be afraid. We have to face them and this is the way to get to the AFC Championship.
On having to beat the best in order to be the best…
I really believe that. I think these are the best teams right now in the playoffs. It’s starting to trickle down to the best of the best. You have to perform at a high level to get to the next game.

Ahhh, DR’s just happy NE doesn’t have one standout receiver whom he can shut down. There’s just no cameras or media swarming around The Island anymore. In fact, there’s been a media blackout on Revis Island for most of the 2nd half of the season.
But with the salad bar WR/TE/RB corps that NE has, DR’s gonna be all over the place, on this guy, on that guy, back on this guy… You may never know where at the buffet table DR will be on any given play… “Hey! He’s by the roast beef; No, there he is, by the romaine; oops, there he is, by the curried chicken!”
So, it’s clear he’s thinking: “Hey, I may be able to get me some face time this week. I’ve been so lonely!” So, if DR needs to wipe the occasional drool from the corners of his mouth during interviews this week, please forgive him. He hasn’t been this excited in many, many weeks…

Not to take anything away from the Seahawks, but I’m assuming he’s talking about the AFC.
